You want Conor to bulk up to be competitive at WW. His little body is not meant to carry that much more muscle and be optimally efficient. If there is wrestling involved against Woodley he will be gassed in 2 minutes instead of 2 rounds.

Only a Conor fanboy would say that the fight was competitive.

That 'guy' just happens to be the most dominant boxer of all time. And it was his gass tank (or lack of) that cost him the TKO loss (not KO). And he didn't get nearly 'KOd' by Nate, he got rocked, sure, but plenty of fighters have been rocked and shoot for a double. It's a pretty standard training technique.

You don't seem to know the difference between a TKO, getting rocked and getting KOd.

If you blur every little fact, you can make any sort of crazy argument. I'm not even a big Conor fan, but that has to be the most over-exaggerated single sentence I've read in a while.

But I agree, I don't think Conor has the TD defense or power to be champ at WW. Not to mention that his gas tank isn't cut out for that weight. I think he'd struggle with most of the top 5 at WW.

The champ I'm not a fan of at WW, beating the shit out of the former FW and LW champ that never defended? Kudos to you, ts. I love this idea<mma4>

If you don't think he was on his way to getting KO'd by Diaz and Mayweather then you should rewatch the fights.

He didn't shoot for a takedown to choke out Diaz. He knew he was going to be KO'd and losing via KO would be a hell of a lot more embarrassing than losing via sub.

Why does it matter exactly if it was KO or TKO? A finish is a finish. Am I making a TKO prop bet or something?

Only a hater would say going 10 rounds against the GOAT boxer while outlanding most of Floyd's opponents would say it wasent. Oh wait I forgot. "Floyd let" Conor land over 100 significant strikes on him.

Floyd did let Conor land over 100 significant strikes. Floyd ate Burger King, didn't spar for the last 30 days, and hung out in his strip club until 4am for the week previous to the fight.

Conor got walked down by a 40 y/o.

That's your opinion but whether you're correct or not, numbers don't lie. He outlanded Mayweather's previous opponents, different style or not. I'm pretty certain the fact that Conor McGregor survived even one round with Floyd Mayweather was astonishing to most boxing experts.

He should fight Woodley in a mega-event or go to Russia and fight the bear.. marvellous geo-policital implications with that one as well, the UFC will get a lot of critics for the "liberal" media.. will probably e Diaz though.

Dude just wants to have a safe excuse if Conor loses. He cares about Conor’s legacy as much as Conor does. Like many Conor fans, TS had tied his own identity to Conor by appropriating Conor’s achievements.

He'd probably fight Nate Diaz at 170 for the interim WW belt.

Not only an opinion. Mayweather walked forward with his hands up and didn't fight like he did in any other fight. With minimal training, he accomplished what he wanted, which was to let Conor punch himself out and then turn it on. Listen to the audio of Mayweather's corner. I'm sure you did, but dismissed it.

I'm a huge fan of what Conor has achieved BUT he wouldn't be competitive against Woodley. Tyrone might not have looked exciting recently but he's too big, too strong & has vastly superior grappling.

I still say Conor has the trilogy with Nate & hopes GSP beats Bisping & they meet in a Superfight.

TBH I don't want Conor to defend ever. I want him to go to WW and steal Woodley's belt as well just to piss off the haters

No. He is too small to fight guys who cut from 200 pounds.
