He'd be a fool not to. To hell with MMA. Some of the world's best soccer players are currently playing for nobody teams in a nothing China league. These players grew up dreaming of playing for Barcelona and winning the champions league so what are they doing in China? More money.
So why should Conor turn down bigger paydays, when unlike Chinese soccer, boxing is also MORE popular and brings greater exposure than MMA? Should he stay just to appease his haters who will NEVER be a fan of his?
Remember, these same haters were bashing him relentlessly when he was one of the most active fighters in the UFC, so don't buy their outrage over his inactivity. They hated him when he took Mendes and Diaz on short notice too, putting shots at the title on hold and in jeopardy.
Go back to boxing Conor and crack Manny's already destroyed chin, beat the bus driver Horn for the title and rematch Floyd, bring Paulie back for more sparring and the endless entertainment that delivers,
retire a billionaire.
Or take a pay cut to $30m to put another beating on Max Holloway to appease haters that won't even have the decency to credit your performance.
