I've never heard fighter use a fight-night weight comparison as evidence of why he will win.
Conor still claiming Nate Diaz was 200 pounds, lol
If he does hes going to be too slow.
Damn near twice the size of Floyd but h will appear to be fighting in slow motion.
So did Canelo. Look what happened. Yeah, Conor, you're right. Being heavier is all it takes. This is the mentality that tells me right away you're gonna lose. You don't understand the game nor why Floyd is undefeated. You're going out there with a bully mentality and you're gonna get toyed with by the smarter, faster, slicker and more skilled fighter, that has spent his life testing himself against elite boxers from different weight classes.
Floyd is 40 now, though. 40. He's not the same guy that fought Canelo.
This should be no surprise 99% of the time he has the size on the guys he fights. It is one of his greatest advantages.
He doesn't need to be the same guy. He is not fighting one of the best boxers of the last decade. But he is only two years older than he was whe he beat Pacquiao. He's looking good in training and sparring partners say he looks even sharper than he did 2 years ago.
Doesn't matter. His sparring and everything is still damn near perfect.
Conor is going to get blown out. Utterly dominated.
People will throw up in disgust
Conor doesn't quite understand boxing. He is used to a sport where most competitors don't have good hands and he can simply overpower them and knock them out. He thinks boxing is the same thing.
I agree with you that size isn't everything by any means. However, the Canalo example we cant bring up yet because we dont know how Conor will use his size in this fight. Canalo didnt use his size well in that fight and basically tried to box with Floyd for 12 rounds and beat him purely with footwork and punching. Another example is JCC vs Canalo, who had a big size edge on Canalo and again size didnt do much in that fight cause he just boxed. A good example of size if the recent fight between GGG and Jacobs.....Jacobs had 18lbs on GGG and used his size well by being physical and imposing that size advantage and gave GGG a very tough fight. Or you can bring up Maidana vs Floyd.....148 vs 165 fight night and Maidana gave him a very tough fight being physical and using his size well. So it all depends on how Conor will use his size here, can he be effective and smart with his size advantage and not just bully.
Size really matters in MMA because of the grappling, much less in boxing. Force equals mass times acceleration , twice as fast four times the impact .
But apparently most of Floyd's opponents never have the right strategy, despite claiming to have the blueprint to beat him. You know what? Like Mike Tyson says, everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mount. Everyone seems to have the key to beat Floyd. Fighters, analysts, fans. Everyone seems to know what a fighter needs to do. And yet, nobody does it. You know why? Floyd doesn't allow it. He is just too damn good. He shuts people down in ways you don't even understand, because you're simply watching the fight. You're not the one hitting air and getting punched in the mouth. You're not the one crumbling from frustration.
Like Floyd said on all access you got to hit me first to sleep me.
Floyd is going to be at least 3 steps at the minimum ahead of Conor I kind of think that added bulk conor is talking about will slow him down.
Plus with the bodywork Floyd is planning to do I don't see conor holding up.
This fight will be a TKO
Lol. Canelo is a lumbering clod compared to McGregor. Floyd has had the privilege of being above average, but not great, at a time when boxing was at it's absolute worst. When he could make a career clowning below average 'champs' like Canelo.
Boxing has double the weight divisions.
Canelo also outweighed him by 20 pounds
And conor doesnt even fight in a way that takes advantage of his weight.
It's amazing how you claim someone with no boxing record is great and someone with over 40 wins and just one loss is "average".
Uau, then tell me: Who did Conor beat that is a better boxer than Canelo? And why? Eddie Alvarez? Zombie Nate Diaz?
Dude, you're clearly delusional and know absolutely nothing about boxing.
Canelo would knock Conor's head clean off. The only reason Canor is even boxing right now is cause he's fighting somebody 20 lbs smaller. And he's still gonna get stopped.
of course he will. He ONLY calls out smaller fighters.
remember - nick called him out
