Conor McGregor Flew in Gold Medalist Jordan Burroughs to Ireland for his Camp

Should be training Sambo. Jordan isn't gonna replicate Khabib's style well because they aren't close to the same. Khabib doesn't really ever shoot lol.

Should go to his nearest 10th planet instead of wasting time trying to get on the level of a Sambo champ in two months.
Who said he's trying to match Khabib's wrestling? He's training with a guy who can mimic Khabib's wrestling so he can learn to deal with it, not so he can out-wrestle him

Or do you think he shouldn't even bother training?

Burroughs is a beast. He will replicate Khabib perfectly for Conor. I'm ready for this fight... let's see what the ChampChamp is made of.

6 months of striking and ground game and this guy will be the champion

Smart man. People underrate Conor’s ground game. His entire camp will be grappling and conditioning.

I do believe Khabib gets Conor down, the question is going to be how Conor looks after the first round. It comes down to his gas tank.

Each have a very clear path to victory. Can’t wait for the fight.
If Khabib isn’t KOed by the end of the 2nd it’s done, imo

lmfao to all these armchair coaches

"hurr durr training with a gold medalist won't help him at all preparing for Khabib. they have totally different styles durr"

<36>

can't make this shit up

How bout working off the back cuz that's where he's going to be

can't wait for edited footage from Conor's camp how Conor "dominated" Jordan in wrestling

Yeah, but there’s a huge difference in training for a defensive grappling match vs an offensive one.

Conor will never be great on the ground. He needs takedown defense . Almost no one can take his power and his stand up is better than anyones he faced. His weakness is his gas tank , which will never be better than average no matter how hard he trains, and the ground. If he can stay on the feat for any length of time the first 3 rounds, he has a good chance of connecting. If he gets taken down he will be held down and beat up and worn down. His time is best spent on avoiding the ground and then trying to get up if he goes down. He will never be at the level of the elite grapplers at this point in his career.
This is a great stylistic match up with a proven great fighter (not a big Conor fan but he wins) vs. one who looks like he is great but still, not really tested against elite fighters. Conor reminds me of BJ in some ways. BJ never seemed to learn that he had about 2 rounds to win or have the guy so hurt he could coast. Conor has to stay out of the championships rounds.

Wait....Am I understanding this correctly?

Dana and the UFC are paying for this guy to teach Conor wrestling?

Isn't that a conflict of interest from the company?

Conor is an owner of the company, so why it would it be a conflict of interest? Sounds like good money spent towards Research & Development to me!
