RDA did actually impress me with his fight against Lawlor.

RDA showed much improved fight IQ.

RDA has improved but so has Conor with his boxing (and Conor's boxing was already the best in MMA by leaps and bounds)

At 170 the ONLY difference is Conor is carrying too much weight at 170 and tends to gas IN HIGH PACED fights

But remember Nate had to eat a ton of counters and take a ton of damage just to get Conor tired and compete

The ONLY question would be, does RDA have that same chin to take those counters from Conor while closing distance?

I feel, based on evidence ...no


RDA would have to commit only to leg kicks and try to get the TD right away...but a lot of people still domt understand that Conor's footwork+counters+the threat of counters=the best TDD there is

We are in the money fights era (which I expect the UFC will slowly move away from once a network deal is secured & they no longer have an astronomical to debt to pay off).

If RDA gets the title shot and beats Woodley, the stars will have aligned for Conor once more to get a huge money fight and put himself in the history books. This massive success will be met with an equally large amount of criticism but this scenario is certainly feasible.

Woodley is a big strong massive weight cutter who would probably literally have over 40-50lbs on Conor on fight night...and weight matters the most on top/in grappling etc

Conor's size disadvantage vs Woodley would actually benefit Conor ON the feet though...where Conor's significant speed advantage over Woodley would really be a huge factor on the feet over Woodley..size matters much less in the striking
