I agree that was some petty antics. Truthfully I think it was Conor that was bored and expecting a big promo. His job as a copromotor and as a ppv % is to make this bitch big. Some of the shit he said and did may have seemed out of place, awkward, or downright cringeworthy, but they’ll chop up all of that footage and use it for the next promo. Him screaming at Ali? Gold. Him standing on the stage like a madman, alone, screaming? Gold. Some of the insults used? Although no fan reaction there were some gems there that when tied in with footage and music will be impressive. Regardless, khabib, shit the bed for the promo. He’s done all these commercials, begging to fight Conor, interviews, slapping Artem...and then sits there and takes Conor’s shit? He owed us a good volley imo.

He's not saying this shit to directly get into Khabib's head. He's saying it so from now to fight night every single one of Khabib's countrymen and colleagues are going to be contacting Khabib and telling him to smash Conor.

Ignoring all these enraged partisans and following the game-plan is now the test for Khabib. Cause from now on McGregor's words are going to be coming out of the mouths of all his friends and camp.

He should listen to Javier Mendes and ignore them all.
