My family is protected by Matt Mitrione. We'll be okay. If they poison Mitrione, I can find some other middling HW to knock his ass out.

    It's true.

It's also true that his one win at LW was much higher ranked than anyone Khabib has faced.

WW is 156 to 170. He weighed 168, which is only two pounds from the limit, which is also 12 pounds from LW, so safe to say he was most def a WW in that fight.

You do realize he fought at LW before fighting in the ufc right? He was also a cage warriors champion. I know he didn’t defend and what’s a cage warrior bla bla bla.

Khabib called that a bs fight. It was definitely a bs fight. Eddie a veteran fighter keeps circlelin into Conor’s power hand. Keeps diving in with jab leaving jaw wide open. Touched out a few times and he goes down. Eddie took a dive for big money.

i felt going into that fight that eddie could get murked by conor, eddie is a guy who is famous for getting rocked really bad in a lot of his fights, and you put him in there with a taller guy, longer reach, ko specialist?

who knows, maybe eddie just shit the bed from all the hype. but i can just imagine dana sitting him down and saying, "look eddie, conor winning a second belt makes the ufc a lot of money. and it could make you a lot more money than you would as champ..."

This part is too reaching. Considering what he did to Aldo and Eddie, this is just plain hating.

I'm really not a hater, I can respect what he's done but let's be honest. I think barboza definitely beats him staying in the outside and striking. Khabib and tony also both likely beat him as long as they are careful in the beginning. Those three likely beat him and some of the other guys have a shot too

    LOL

Change the record. Every hater has claimed he would get beat. Holloway, Chad, Aldo, Eddie.

    What's different this time?

The ufc would never risk telling Eddie to take a dive directly. They would have a 3rd party person approach Eddie and say hey, here is a million. I want you to keep circling into Conor’s left and eat it.

Conor’s weakness is actually against tall strikers who have longer reach than him. Nate Diaz, Edson barbosa, tony Ferguson...these type of body types and skill sets would really offset Conor’s rockback left. harder for him to rockback to an opponent with longer reach. Conor actually does do well vs short stocky wrestlers. He is very precise and has good take down defense (not great but good enough). Problem vs Khabib is that Khabib is not your typical “short stocky wrestler”. Khabib is HUGE for 155lb. Khabibs manager was just on mma hour and said Khabib walls around 190. Khabib is just bigger and with his take down skills, it almost guaranteed he will take Conor down and smash his face. Conor would have to KO him early or he will get zapped of all his power very quickly and won’t have the juice in the left anymore.

doesnt matter. Serra tkoed gsp and that doesnt make him ww goat or even in that discussion. Conor is damn good but he needs to fight to see where he stands next to khebab, t ferg, Barboza, Lee, etc...

I think he is a formidable fighter but he needs to stfu and fight.

Ok let's be real, barboza likely stays on the outside and picks him apart. Conor stands extremely heavy on his front leg so barboza could literally tko him with leg kicks. He has faced no one with the level of grappling that khabib and tony have except mendes, who is much smaller and didn't have a full training camp(don't forget Conor was getting smashed from FULL GUARD which is never supposed to happen). Overall he's not a tought guy to solve. Literally just watch the left hand for the first 2 rounds and the he starts to gas. I respect what he's done but he doesn't want any of the top guys at lw unless he gets a big payday

Shinya Aoki, Cowboy, and Michael Chandler have also beaten Alvarez so I guess they are GOAT contenders too.

I would consider Nate a lw fight reguardless of their actual weight, as Nate fought his entire career at lw and never officially changed divisions. But the point stands that Nate wasn't even top 5, and Conor's lw ranking is beyond suspect.
