Congress refuses to indugle Sessions' reefer madness.

Can we de-fund the man himself, next?

Get Gowdy in there, plz.

States rights.

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Like I said lots of liberals don't want to hear states rights unless it's about weed then they scream for it. You don't get to pick and chose and try to hold the moral high ground about states rights. You support states rights or you don't.

The only exception is a supreme court ruling that a state has overstepped their rights and a state law is unconstitutional.

The fedural classification of weed is constitutional and the feds could legaly enforce it.

I would love to see a case where the feds made a case and arested someone that was legal in the state and it go to the Supreme Court. With the hope that it would uphold states rights on this.

It would be funny as hell with the liberals not known what to do because supporting states rights is racist but it's "weed man".

Agreed.

It would also be funny as hell if Conservatives who support "states rights" didn't actually rely on Federal tax dollars from all those liberal states, you know, welfare.

I wish someone would slip Sessions an edible without him knowing so he gets paranoid and starts snitching on everyone and everything. Bet he would snitch out the entire White House.

The states that have been wise enough are seeing profits ranging into the hundreds of millions.
None of them are going to turn their backs on that free money.
"Funding to fix our failing schools and roadways? No thanks! "
My area actually managed to put money into schools with marijuana tax dollars
The prohibition needs to end

Agreed.

And if the conservative states started controlling and cutting welfare received by mostly the Democratic voters 8jntheir states we would see what would happen and who would cry about it, conservative or Democrats.

That would be fine by me, I could give a shit less whether someone is democrat or republican, I just lol at the partisan :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:ry that preaches financial responsibility, and hates social spending, but then sucks at the teet of the very states they demonize.

You know that the people getting all that money in thoses states are not conservatives. It's not like all the people in the state are conservative. If you took all the non conservative people out of thoses states you would find that they would get little money for welfare.

All I know is that here in Washington, the extra tax dollars are really fucking up our education program. I bought an oz of kief for 83 bucks two days ago, and every puff is filled with guilt.

Here is the OpenSecret's webpage for Session's. I am not sure if any of the contributers are anti-pot.

I see that a Beer lobbying group gave him 10K, but I don't see anything from tobacco.

Are any on that list from private prison companies?

The alcohol lobby is one of the driving forces against legalization in the US.

Big pharma companies that derive a large percentage of their revenues from opiod sales are another.

Note that Merck & Co is also one of his donors.

Nobody seems to get it with Sessions. They grow some good herb down in 'Bama. It's a family business. He relies on it being illegal.
