Major kudos to Conor for making this fight happen and lasting as long as he did. The guy has had an incredible career so far and the fact that he was simply able to convince the world to watch him get in that ring was a feat in itself.

Props to Floyd on coming out of retirement to put on a show and represent his sport well. Boxing is about enduring and he showed the world that while making half a billion. Impressive.

And last but not least all you fans pat yourselves on the back. We forget we live in a world where we're supposed to get hyped. We're supposed to believe in the unlikely. We're supposed to back who we believe in. We're supposed to enjoy rare spectacles whether they're sold on the impossible or not. The SuperBowl isn't gonna suck if it's Cleveland vs New England. It's gonna be crazy, and everyone will watch. Why is this different? Back your guy, talk that shit, enjoy the show while it's on.

Sure as fuck beats arguing over statues and skin color.

Great thread. Whole heartedly agree.

Meh, the Super Bowl is A level athletes.

This was A level athlete vs D level, maybe D+ level at best.

Not a very good analogy.
