COMPETITION LOG - 2017 S&C Deadlift Comp

I started deadlfiting again last week after not deadlifting, squatting, or training my legs in any way for almost 3 months lol.

I pulled 607 lbs on Friday on a power bar and competition discs. My sumo form is still shit and it looks like I'm doing a sumo SLDL, but it's slowly getting better. My upper body is really strong right now, but my legs are super weak. My previous best sumo set was an ugly 550x3.

Where you at, @Cmart? You were so arrogant in the lead up, but then completely disappeared after your meet.
What kind of bench numbers do you have right now?

I did a comfortable 430 a few weeks ago during my second bench session of the week.

But I'm a lot lighter than when I hit my last bench PR. Like...20 lbs.

Maybe I am still in this thing. Pulled a 645 sumo today. I'm not sure I'll be in PR territory by the end of the year, but I'm pretty pumped about my long term deadlift outlook, given where I'm at now. I'll definitely give it a shot.

Notes: Squats felt really strong. 355 felt heavy as fuck two days ago but 345 wasn't bad at all today. Deadlifts felt way heavier than expected.
 
Currently starting the second cycle of GZCL UHF 5 week program.

160 Kg went up with 1 or 2 reps left in the tank last week.I think I will manage 180Kg this year before the end of the competition. :)
