Mueller and sessions have literally been mentioned on this forum, by me, within the last week.
OK, then you should have no problem naming the guy before Comey without googling it, or his political leanings. We might have different definitions of "well known", cause nobody else could pick the guy out of a lineup of 1.
Robert Mueller. You may have heard of him. Been in the news a bit lately. He was also the man who steered the FBI through the 9/11 investigation conducted by the department. Your claims are bogus. FBI directors serve 10 year terms (unless a President fires them in an attempt to obstruct justice) and are well known not only because of their position, but also due to their length of service as the public facing ranking official of the FBI. Maybe YOU can't name them, but best not to project that on the rest of us. They outlast Presidents and serve more than one. It's an apolitical position. They remain no matter which party is in power.
There's literally a thread about him. Everyone here should know who he is, since he was just appointed special counsel.
You seem to think that just because you're ignorant about something, nobody else could possibly know about it either. Or you might have an alternative definition of "nobody else"
Note that Mueller's predessecor was fired for gross ethical misconduct by Clinton after an exhaustively researched report and investigation.
He announced there was not enough evidence for any criminal charge. It was his job since he was the head of the agency responsible for investigating. I don't see the issue unless you're one of those "lock her up" crowd.
Actually, he resigned. Other than that, correct.
Just like Donald. Only man to say "the Civil War, why?"
1. You didn't know Robert Mueller before googling it.
Yeah, because you didn't. Suddenly everyone's an expert in FBI operations once Comey gets fired
This is a bad look, bruh
...he lead the FBI through the worst terror attack on American soil in history, challenged the Bush White House on domestic wiretapping and lead the NFL's investigation into Ray Rice. He's extremely well known. Just because you're an idiot doesn't mean the rest of us are.
For sure, but let's not act like we're all FBI scholars. The same way everyone on facebook is suddenly constitutional scholars like twice every year when something pops up. I can admit I'm a tard on most of this stuff and learning as I go.
Yeah? How about before Mueller, with no NFL tie ins?
Really? Louis Freeh. Have you spent the past few decades under a rock?! Freeh was involved in many massively public investigations. TWA 800, Ruby Ridge, Waco....the fucking OKC federal building bombing.
Nobody knows them, except Comey, because he's a show off!
It's not like Clint Eastwood makes movies staring Leonardo Dicaprio about any of them, or something! They're unknown!
One of the few times a pre made gif actually fits. Crazy to think the FBI chain of command is just common knowledge.
No one is talking about the chain of command. We were talking about the list of FBI directors who preceded James Comey. Chain of command is the hierarchy of decision making...something entirely different.
I was gonna talk chain of command, but now I feel silly.
Lol, Mueller spoke at my alma mater while I was there. He's one of our better known current alums.
