Crime Comey Admits to Ignoring Proper Protocol

Not so much that it isn’t “helping” him. More that it could be construed as intentionally “hurting” him. If I’m going to interview a suspect and he asks if he should bring an attorney and I tell him not to then charge him based on something I get him to say in the interview, that’s not gonna play well in court generally - atleast from a jury optics standpoint if nothing else.

I just heard about it on the radio yesterday so not sure on the details but that seems a little iffy.

Flynn wasn't a suspect in a criminal investigation.

He was being interviewed as part of a counterintelligence investigation.

He became a criminal because he lied in that interview

They went to interview him about something they already knew the answers to. They had his conversations in transcript form

So the question is. Why did they interview the guy without a lawyer and ask him questions they already knew the answers to

And one more thing. Why did they need to interview him about things any man in his position would be doing?

It's easy to see what happened here. It's a shame what was done to Flynn. He's the 1 guy I wish Trump would pardon

A perjury trap is like the fabled unicorn in that it only exists in one's imagination.
Telling the truth is the surest way to avoid it.

Then why does every attorney on earth tell you never to speak to authorities without a lawyer present

Why was he interviewed at all? They had his conversations recorded. What's the point of it?

And the agents that interviewed him thought he didn't lie

Also, why is the original 302 missing

Also interesting that the IG is reporting that Strzok and Page phones were WIPED clean

Because you have the right to have one present.

It keeps them in business.

If you are ever called in and questioned concerning some crime I suggest you go in without a lawyer and tell law enforcement everything you know. Go into as much detail as you can. Give them your recollection of events multiple times over days or weeks. What's the worst that can happen?

Why did Flynn lie to Pence?

Trump's next Attorney General should fire Mueller. A U.S. President cannot commit obstruction for exercising his constitutional powers. Mueller is a crook desperately trying to frame Trump for anything he can, so that Mueller can look out for his Marxist friends in the Democrat party.

Looks like a date rapist.

To hide the treason of course! The same treason for which Mueller indicted him.

You can try to dodge the fact that he lied to the VP about the same issue that he lied to the FBI about, but you can't blame him lying to Pence on the older boys at the FBI getting him all flustered. Trump can bullshit now all he wants (and you can eat those turds whole) about Flynn not lying to the FBI, but him tweeting that he fired Flynn for lying to the FBI and to Pence undermines that. And Flynn obviously had a lot to tell Mueller (we don’t know what it was at this point because it was mostly redacted) but he offered a lot of valuable info, given how much time he spent talking to Mueller, and given how Mueller was advocating no jail time for him.

Who gives a shit that he lied? What was his substantial crime? For what else could they have indicted him?

Do you believe it should be illegal to lie to any law enforcement? Do you believe street cops should be able to charge you with lying to them? It would certainly make "getting their man" way easier because they wouldn't have to prove guilt for any other crime.

Lol lying to investigators and obstruction of justice is ok to you.

You realize it's currently illegal to knowingly lie or mislead cops during the course of an investigation right?

It's also illegal to file a false police report

You're not obstructing anything if you're not even aware there is an investigation. It's a circular concept.

Under specific circumstances. You have to be aware that there is an investigation. The way this was handled with Flynn is broadening the way that law is applied.

Flynn was the head military intelligence, he knew he was committing a crime and misleading a Counter Intelligence investigation

Well, despite the fact that you say it is that clear cut, the judge presiding over the case has requested more information from Mueller for review on that subject...
