So this happened in my hometown of Wheaton, Illinois at a christian college.

Wheaton College, the evangelical school in Illinois, will expel you if you have pre-marital sex with your long-time partner.

They will kick you out if you’re in a committed same-sex relationship.

You’re not allowed to watch porn.

Well,

A fellow student was kidnapped from his dorm room, bound his arms and legs and almost sodomized by an unknown object.

The punishment for this crime? Well 50 hours of community service and the rapists were forced to write an 8 page essay reflecting on their behavior. I'm sure the essay goes something like, Please forgive me father for that I did not realize kidnap and forcible sodomy were bad. It's just I gave into temptation.

So much for christians having the moral high ground. Good thing the police were called in so these clowns can face some real charges. I wonder if they will be able to pray this all away

@ripskater

Christians like to talk the talk, but clearly not walk the walk. I am sure they were all wonderful young Christian men. It takes a special kind of crazy to actually go to a religious college.

As an atheist, I don't think this is a Christian problem. This is a stupid problem.

It sounds like this small college recruits non-Christians to play football.

Damn! I remember when I was a freshman on the hockey team and all we had to do was fill up the water bottles every game. I can't even wrap my mind around how a group of people come up with a plan like this. This guy is supposed to be a teammate. You don't kidnap, beat, and sexually assault, someone because you're "hazing" them. It's called torture.

A lot of non-Christians go to supposed "Christian colleges" to play sports.

Those football players should go to jail for what they did to that kid.

All Christians are hypocrites, it is written into the doctrine. Of course they have no moral high ground - Their "morals" are derived from the threat of eternal torture, nothing else.

They are christians. Have to be to attend that school
Actually no, you don't have to be a Christian to attend the school. You just have to be a good football player, and say that you are a Christian.

So like 95% of the rest of christians. haha

Chris Spielman, the father of one of the alleged perpetrators, has been outspoken about his Christian faith.

Obviously his son has not made the same commitment to following Jesus Christ.
