I attended one ufc event ever and some of the dumbest humans on earth were there.

It seems like there are very few fans that actually follow MMA that attend the events.... At least regarding the one I went to.

I don't know....you can love or hate Colby, but very few of these fighters just walk around these events without some handlers. Call them what ever you want but one of there main goals is to keep people from messing with that fighter. It isn't that their scared, its that you never know what moron is out there that could cause a serious issue.

Even guys like Frank Mir have always been well known to be packing heat every where he goes along with people in his inner circle.
