there was like no time between those events.
When was his prime? In his 20’s or his 30’s?
there was like no time between those events.
his last loss to a "can" he was 29.
fedor never pissed hot and anderson has 2 times now. the guy was a cheat and his entire legacy is in question.
There was an 8 year gap in between Chonan and Weidman. Pretty easy to believe his prime was in that gap.
2006-2011-ish Silva was a different beast and you know that. Fedor gets a pass for being "past his prime" at age 33-34 and losing to 40-year old MWs. Can't we do the same for Anderson at age 38?
clearly he peaked in his 30s. and clearly he declined in his 30s as well. When was his prime? In his 20’s or his 30’s?
What else would a gap between losses be described as? You are a prime example of why stupid people shouldn't try to act smart. So the gap where he was on a winning streak then lost?
if you start training grappling at 29 are you in your grappling prime?29. Prime age you’d say?
As opposed to the x2 busted silva?
Prime Silva would have flatlined him in no more than 2 rounds
So the gap where he was on a winning streak then lost?
Lies. Chris was outstriking Anderson on the feet, beating him to the punch numerous times. The only success Anderson had was about 5 leg kicks
Wait.... when they fought Silva was over the hill and already on the down slide of his career. They already fought and Weidman KO’d him.
Or is Prime Anderson the one where he got tapped out by midget Japanese cans? Chris KO’s that version too
Mmm no .... he had trouble with fucking Travis and chael.... also Maia clipped him in their fight making him tentative as fuck. Chris beats any version of Anderson ANY
Wait.... when they fought Silva was over the hill and already on the down slide of his career.
At least, thats the narrative once Weidman won.
A 38yo man is at least half a decade past his physical prime.
Fact.
Way to cherry pick and exaggerate. Anderson took an H-bomb from prime Hendo and then dismantled him...something prime Rampage couldn't do just a few months earlier. He also took on full TRT Belfort--the same guy who KO'd Rockhold and Bisping and was terrorizing the division--and front kicked him like the Karate Kid.
