Chiesa tried a FAKE TAP. Yamazaki then stopped the fight. Legit win for Lee

Not a chance, and that choke was not dialed in.

Chiesa literally sprang up the moment he let go, you don't pop up like that on your way out.
actually i do that on a regular basis. not saying it wasn't a bad call; it was terrible, but Id have given chiesa a <1% of escape, and a <1% chance of not being unconscious within 3 seconds without intervention.

also, there was no fake tap you silly fucks.

he wasn't tapping, he was telling his mom that he was okay.

He sprang up bc oxygen finally went back into his brain.
Doesn't work that way. If you're out or nearly out you are slow to get up and regain awareness as blood circulates oxygen to your brain. It ain't a light switch.

Take the fucking kid gloves off. These men are in here to die. Most of them would be upset at the speed of the stoppage.

Not mad at this stoppage at all. Mike should have kept hand fighting or thumbs upped. Dude looked like he was out tbh. Mike should know better.

Chiesa's defense kinda reminded me of

Yamasaki was just worried Chiesa was about to shit himself. Twice in one night and the UFC would be dead.

So you're saying it would've taken just a bit longer before he went out? Because Lee was not letting go...
Fuck outta here dummy. If what the man is saying is true, then Lee would have spent energy fishing for choke that wasn't there. You don't magically start to cutoff the opponents circulation because of a certain time frame. He had the choke or he didn't, that you can contend. You can't say after a certain amount of time he would've succumbed to it, if Chiesa was able to position himself in a way to relieve the pressure, then its up to Lee to adjust. Can he? It would have been nice to see. You are completely out of your lane here.

Wow, so when you see his arms stiffen in the air, you perceive that as reaching to defend.

Crazy how we can all look at one thing and see something so drastically different.

For all the bitching Dana does, why doesn't the cheap motherfucker invest in some cameras on the refs? Guess he'd rather talk shit online like a tough guy.

Agree with your points, especially how it's crazy there are so many ways to interpret what happen. I thought he looked out, so sympathise with the ref.

However, the way you talk about Dana makes you sound like someone talking shit online like a tough guy.

Wow, there's such a thing as a fake tap now? Looks like he was contemplating on tapping and also, that gif is sped up a bit too.

A ref's job when a fighter is in a submission attempt is where there is a tap, verbal tap, injury, or when they go unconscious.

STILL CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID "FAKE TAP"

He was out and woke op as soon as the pressure was released

Anik and Cruz must be blind

So fake of a tap that it couldn't be caught on camera I guess

The "fake tap" was imperceptible to most human eyes and cameras, but TS and Yamasaki were able to sense it

Is fighting off a rnc with no hands intelligently defending yourself? On the early end of a legit stoppage but still legit
