The Bad Guy discusses necessary improvements in commission official accountability.

While saying training might not be necessary, he says that people need to lose licenses for messing up the same way a fighter would lose a license.

Chael is right because Chael is never wrong.

Chael P. Sonnen = future Bellator heavyweight champion.

training should be necessary for both refs and judges. they made Unifed Rules they can make Unified training to enforce those rules as well.

any live judging and reffing is difficult. split second decisions need to be made. they should be properly educated and trained to do their job at the highest level .

Hey, not being punished or held accountable wont give you any reason to change your ways

Honestly dont see why they cant require judges to be former fighters themselves. That would skip the "training", and if people call some bullshit then they have a hearing where the license could be lost.

It over complicates and already complicated system and some former fighters would make terrible refs. Some people will let someone die.

Funny you say that because on the regional scene Ive seen former pros ref fights and do very well.

And I said Judge fights not ref anyways.

Former fighters would make great judges, not the meathead fighters but dudes that still have a brain.

Anyone else think it's weird that Uncie Shael said he's a big fan of gymnastics?

This. Using Vegas or whatever as an example, the ufc brings in a lot of money for the city. Spend some of that shit on things that matter.

chael is right on. the judges should be trained, or be former competitors, or at least some sort of qualification.
the mayweather mcgregor fight is a prime example. i was in shock when they read the cards. wtf??

Most refs do it as a hobby or a second job, it's not like they're getting paid huge money.

And this is why I think a lot of decisions are rigged because there's no oversight and nothing to prevent such an arrangement

I ve often wondered this about the officials in many sports; especially baseball and basketball.

The commissioners should be former competitiors or otherwise qualified. Most licensed professions are regulated by people involved in that profession. Start there and changes will happen real quick.
