I remember them switching from the wish bone to a passing game with Cale Gundy and winning a Sun Bowl in 1993 in that period. That team was pretty damn good. I thought they did a good job switching which isn't easy.

Do any of y'all pay attention to the college baseball tournament? #1 Oregon State's ace pitcher diddled a 6 year old girl and he's probably still pitching this weekend.

Jesus. OSU trying to compete with Pedo State for title as 'home of low-lifes'.

Funny enough I'm in Portland and we were at a restaurant last night that had the Oregon State - Vandy game on the TVs.

Storm system down in the gulf dropping the temperatures here. Walked out of the house to a crisp(for June) 70 degree morning. Immediately made me long for the fall with Gameday telling me all I have to look forward to for the day as I sip my coffee, watching the SEC on CBS all afternoon and grilling my ribeye for the primetime ABC game. All the while, discussing the craziness with you fine gentlemen. 60 days baybay!

Does anyone still check out the preview magazines like Athlon and Phil Steele? There used to be an awesome one put out by Blue Ribbon but they couldn't afford it anymore.
    I know @therealdope remembers Street and Smith's.

I think Butch has learned his lesson and I doubt you will hear anything close to that at SEC media days this week. It doesn't seem to have had a negative impact on recruiting though.

Tennessee jumps LSU, now has the SEC's No. 1 ranked recruiting class for 2018
Michael Wayne Bratton | 3 days ago
Thursday evening, LSU suffered the decommitment of four-star Georgia defender Adam Anderson, who is currently ranked as the No. 1 outside linebacker in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Ratings. Why is this significant to Tennessee fans? The loss of Anderson bumped LSU’s 2018 recruiting class down a few notches, allowing the Vols to jump the Tigers for the No. 1 overall recruiting ranking in the SEC and No. 3 in the nation.

Has he? Did you not catch his recent Butchism about how they've supposedly competed for titles during his tenure there? Or making "Champion" rings for the seniors?

Of course they're #1, they only recruit guys with 5 star hearts. :D
Recruiting has never been a problem for him and he's built a solid foundation out of the Dooley mess. He's solidified himself as your version of Ron Zook though.

The Blue Ribbon one was the best. It was close to $30 but was basically a bible in the early internet days because it had rosters and projected depth charts for every single 1A team. They only do one for basketball now though.
