Obviously he is out of his prime.
Maybe, but he should probably be at 155, and he could've easily won the Lawler fight. I'm telling you Till is going to run through the whole WW division, so I think it's a bit early to claim he's out of his prime. I would say he probably isn't really evolving anymore tho.
It is numerically impossible to have a 3 fight losing streak without first having had a 2 fight losing streak.
Therefore, he HAS had a 2 fight losing streak.
He should take the rest of the year off, he needs it. The nose was smashed and he needs a rest. I would prefer he took a year off then return to LW.
Idk if it's a past his prime case, his last 3 fights have def been bad style matchups for him. Strong, pressure boxers with good td. However, he really looked clueless against till imo. His arms were way too low, like he was too worried about the liver kick. He seemed scared, like he felt darren's power. Then again, the guy looked like a lhw, sprawled well and certainly has power. I like how he takes the center of the octagon and never takes a step back, he's got some similarities to conor.
Why you gotta bring up old shit?
Strength of schedule counts for a lot. I’m not saying that Cerrone is still a contender, or that Till is on the same level as Masvidal or Lawler (he could be, it’s just too early to tell), but what I am saying is that Cerrone needs time to rest, regroup, and have a meaningful rebound fight, not against a top 5 guy or a hungry young prospect, but someone of his own status (well-rounded veteran) - like Tibau, Guida, etc.
He very well could be slowing down. He's getting older and had alot of fights, been in his fair share of wars and taken his fair share of whoopings. It's not out of the realm of possibility, not saying he is but he could be.
Knowing Cerrone he probably plans on fighting again next week.
Well he's supposed to be out for 6 months. Hopefully he takes his time so he can return to form. I hope he isn't done at the top.
It doubt he's really worried about titles at this stage so it doesn't really matter I suppose. I just hope both he and the UFC get smarter about his matchups now. They need to be working to extend this guy's career.
It sucks, but it's true.
he could lose his next 6 fights and the UFC still wouldn't cut him.
It was Robbery Lawler all over again at UFC 214, 14 years after the Tiki Ghosn robbery.
till won't hang with wonderboy or woodley. I don't care if he just beat cerrone, who teh fuck is Till? what's his competition been like outside of cerrone?
I still can’t believe they stopped the Tiki fight because of a cut
Hes the kenneth allen of mma now
TBH I thought he beat Lawler, but what is clear is he won't be champ.
