Carrier plant where Trump "saved 800 jobs" announces 600 layoffs by Christmas.

Yes. I'm not a fan of the thread title of that last one- perhaps we can make an official thread and see what kind of interest it generates

Yes. Basically. The others were all just as nuts but at least Trump was a shock to the American psyche.

So you are telling me there isnt a single republican that isnt a con-artist?

I wonder how many of the newly unemployed can't wait to go back and vote for trump again in three years

They're all shit. Same as democrats. We need to start from scratch

They arent all shit, there are plenty of succesful, based republican governors.

Its the shitty republican voter the one that went to shit, completely radicalized.

When people use the "they are all junk" excuse, it is just a cop out to avoid having to actually research and look at the records of the candidates in the primary. Willful ignorance.

It's not celebrating: it's vindicating understanding the obvious. Everyone with an IQ criticized that Carrier non-story as damaging bullshit when it was being celebrated by the right.

Here are some other jobs President Trump secured for America. But please, continue celebrating American misfortunes...

Manufacturing jobs are steadily being sent overseas. The job market has changed. It's the responsibility of the worker to recycle himself into something the market wants. Take evening classes, take an apprenticeship into a job that has a future, build new skill-sets. I really don't feel sorry for people sitting around idling waiting for the chopping block.

Nah, its more like you telling someone "Maybe its not a good idea to spend your life savings in a pyramid scheme" then when the inevitable happens and you point it out someone responds "Why are you celebrating someone losing their life savings".

Also spare me the copy-paste, because for years, republicans railed against the US Bureau of Labor unemployment statistics as fake and doctored, even though its methodology had not changed in decades. But now that Trump is in, they are suddenly real and trustworthy.

What people pointed out is that it took corporate welfare to "save" those jobs, and these jobs were lost anyway.

Kinda of how the whole tax holiday called American Job Creation Act of 2004, was supposed to create jobs, yet the companies that benefited from it proceeded to lay off a massive amount of people.

Watch those salt levels bro..

Ignored what jobs? you didnt posted any real statistics or actual investments, only anecdotal announcements.

You do know that trend of job growth has been basically unchanged for the past like 5+ years, right?

You also know that Trump still hasn't passed or even proposed a budget, yes?

Yeah but it was fake under Obama, and real under Trump (even though the same reporting methods are used for both. Ignore that part).

it was really the same thing with Reagan too. He made those people proud of America again. Whatever the hell that means.

it means the promise of someone who might get more disenfranchised than you so you can feel less like scum when the rich are mocking you. This way you'll have someone to mock yourself, and feel just like those rich folks!
