If you know what you're doing. I have a bud who did time, got stabbed when in, didn't want to report it, so he stitched himself up...horrible looking scar lol. Apparently its quite common in the Pen. Just watch a quick You tube video how to do it, get er done.

You can but don't be surprised if it doesn't heal properly or gets infected.

Thats what it was originally intended for, and "medical grade" is still used in ER/Office settings still.
If your going to stitch yourself, use plain dental floss for less risk of infection
