Can Khabib Nurmagomedov take Jose Aldo down?

At this point yes he'd be good enough to get a takedown a round at least and that's all he needs

Cerrone is a surprise probably because people don't expect him to shoot much
 
Khabib misses weight and comes in at 158, gives up 20% of his purse but smashes Aldo into retirement.
 
Why Khabib dont have a title fight ? He have nice rec in UFC 8-0.
 
I doubt it, Khabib's take-downs rely on being close.

Aldo is really great at avoiding getting clinched and evading...unless you he fights Mcgregor...

Oh man good question. I think Aldo might be too hard to corner. M But Khabib is so big though.
 
Khabib is one strong mother fscker, and Aldo looks small in comparison. He can take Aldo down, but not at will. And of course he will eat some punches whilst trying.

Also, the question is: once on the ground, would Aldo be able to sweep Khabib?

Of course. Aldo TDD is GOAT but Khabib has like 20lbs on him.

I guess you are assuming they compete at 155lbs.

Eventually I think so if it got to around 3.

habib would be a sitting duck though for Aldo's striking.
 
Khabib is legit 200 pounds. Remeber what he did to rda and trujilo.
