IMO this is his only route to victory. How does GSP 2017 compare to Kennedy 2014? And how does Bisping 2014 compare to Bisping 2017?

Or do you think GSP just beats Bisping on the feet? (I don't)

Well, considering not one person here knows what 2017 GSP looks like in a fight, it's all speculation.

And honestly, no one knows what a 2017 Bisping looks like either. He looked great in 2016 but that feels like a long time ago. Atleast in MMA years.

    Pointless discussion.

This. Kennedy weighs 240 lbs, shredded.

On a serious note, in his prime I think GSP would dominate Bisping. Today.. who knows? We'll see how good he is after so many years.

I don't know what to expect. Part of me says GSP is too small and too detached from fighting at this point. But knowing how meticulous GSP is with his planning, he must have a lot of confidence that he can beat Bisping, else he wouldn't be back.

    1. No one knows what GSP will look like but he constantly trained during his hiatus so I can't imagine he's regressed much.

    2. 2014 Bisping > 2017 Bisping. Bisping looks worse every fight. Wear and tear is catching up and Bisping is definitely slowing down.

    3. Yes/no. I believe GSP can TD Bisping repeatedly but I don't think he can plant him to the ground like Kennedy can.

    4. GSP 49-46, 49-46, 50-45

I gotta think no, That was a pretty tough fight & Kennedy is a true tough guy. While GSP is a great fighter I don't think a real tough fight against Bisping goes his way.

Kennedy was a former LHW, who regardless of his 5 foot 11 inch height, was a big MW. Tim said he walked around 215-220 pounds, and looking at his frame- he is a lot bigger than GSP. GSP is a 5 feet 9.5 inch tall natural WW, who has not fought above 170. Not sure what a 198 pound GSP will look like on fight night, but I see Bisping beating GSP, even though I like GSP.
