Can Conor adapt if he losses his KO power at LW?

I agree that based on the UFC scoring system Conor has a W on his record. Deep down anyone who watched that though knows Nate is 2-0.

A guy that got dropped like 5 times and lost a 10-8 first round, and lost 3 rounds total didnt win the fight. Stop licking Nate's $^#& and think clearly.

but yet in the big leagues, hendo couldn't win even 1 title...should we count conor's cage warriors titles also??

PRIDE was the better league in those days, rookie. How many Strikeforce guys are or were UFC champs?

He dropped Eddie like 5 times and easily finished him. He dropped Nate 3 times at 170, a guy with an unbelievable chin. Why would he not have power at 155 when he already proved he still has it at that weight class? Just because he didn’t drop Khabib doesn’t mean his power didn’t translate to ‘55 well. His power is there’s. He just didn’t land those shots on Khabib. He’s more about accuracy and timing anyway. A lot of the shots he drops people with don’t even look like he really threw much into it, he just hits the right spot.

Thinking clearly. Interesting, which one of the judges gave Conor a 10-8? Not saying it should or shouldn't be, just commenting on how "clearly" you're thinking and your hypocrisy. I believe someone might be licking Conor's nuts.

Nate won the actual fight. Get over it.

The problem I'd say is that Conor tends to depend on catching guys off balance to really hurt then, he has power but its not power on the level of someone like Gomi in the past and Khabib basically made sure Conor got very few openings to catch him in that way/

Because 10 lbs magically gives people amazing chins.....

Weight has very, very little to do with chin.

The bigger guys are the bigger hits they can take and more power they have.

It's why the lower down you go the weightclasses the less chance of a knockout until you're get to flyweight and everyone's got pillows for fists.

You've also got to consider guys are taller at LW. At FW average heights gotta be 5'7 its probably 5'10 at lightweight, just bigger framed guys.

that still doesn't erase the fact that hendo could never win a world title...so much for pride being better...they were better in some divisions, just not all.

There is usually a correlation re: punching power and weight, but it's far from set in stone that a bigger guy hits harder than a smaller guy.

There is absolutely no proof that "bigger guys can take bigger hits." It doesn't take much to rattle the brain and cause a knock out, and big guys have no special protection against it. Stronger neck muscles might help, but not significantly.

So you're saying someone like John Linekar who knocks guys dead at bantamweight would KO Stipe if he landed clean on him?

He knocked down diaz one of the greatest chin, and he was at 170. He destroyed alvarez. He hit khabib hard but lets not forget Conors power is a counter straight left. All his knock downs are counter straight left. Which means hes using the momentum of his opponent as a power advantage for his own punch. Usually people miss a right punch and are left wide open for conor to pin point their chins. Khabib always keeps his right hand up and didnt step too far into his right handed punch, therefore denying conor the opportunity to counter. Khabib is very good at leaving his hands up thats why 4 knock out artists in johnson, iaquinta, barboza and conor couldnt get many good hits on him. You are just underestimating khabibs defense coupled with takedown threat
great insight. ill be honest and say that im one of those who underestimates his skills.

Lineker hits fucking hard, Miocic chin might be suspect, at least Lineker drops him

Actually Conor won. I'm stating facts and you're sucking Nates %$#@ because you're a deluded stan/Conor hater.

Conor is a FW. It's hard for a small guy to come up to a division and destroy chins like Eddie and Nate, but he's so good he still does it. Khabib's chin isn't anything special, Conor just wasnt 100%.
