I think Cerrone could actually do quite well against Ferguson.
He has the technical know-how for this matchup.

I’m pretty sure he would wreck Dustin.
He already took out Barboza with ease.

But Cerrone is oldee now. He still has the grappling but not sure he can take damage and counter like he used to.

I don't think he truly believes he can make a run at 155lbs. I think he wants to pick up a win against a top 10 guy and then start calling out Conor for a huge money fight before he retires. I'd like to see him prove me wrong though. Just hard to imagine him doing it when there are guys like Khabib, Lee, Conor, Ferguson, Diaz, etc. in the division.
