Camille Paglia: Transgender is end of a Civilization and helps ISIS

The Greeks were very similar. Someone else mentioned the Greeks pushing the weird shit to the fringe as well through most of the times.

also, Octavian was not exactly during the rise of Rome. In my opinion, the fall started the moment Caesar essentially did away with the Republic and consul positions.

This is my first and only account. Please explain your claim, before or after "Nah dud, I dahnt beleev u"

Funny how some posts you put zero work into get ten pages, yet ones that are actually relevant to stopping the demise of western civilization die a horrible death.

if only the world had your threads, we'd know how to prevent the imminent demise of our society....

the fact that rome had politicians with their own private armies, and had spread their empire much further than a pre-industrial society could manage, may have had more to do with their demise than views on gender lol. but....you seem to have it all figured out.

<_< What are you trying to say? There were no orgies in Greece and Rome. Never thought I'd type that lol

They had orgies with slaves, had public porn, cross dressed, pederasty, and shit, Livy talks at length about crazy sex parties. Please, tell me how Titus Livius was modern. I'll wait.

You understand I am straight quoting from Camille Paglia who did her thesis at YALE on androgeny???

Now, think about the masculine men out there in different societies. What do masculine men hate more than almost anything? Effeminate men. If masculine men see the "effies" then they think "wow, we can just go take all they shit, naw mean?"
Now, it is true that ISIS shows the proliferation of gays/trans to their countries and tells the people "you do not want to become like this"--- Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is ISIS propaganda recruitment tool.

I said that moral crimes during the theocracy/coming together of the formation of Israel were all punishable by death.
I also linked what Camille Paglia said about Androgeny being linked to the end of a civilization and how it might make sense that God would want to discourage that on a civilization he was in the process of building....but lets not forget that we act out our morality and most likely a great portion of The Law were the rules that those people were living by before Moses wrote them down.

Again, it is an expert who studied androgyny...she was very pro-androgyny and through what she found out as a grad student at YALE lead her to her conclusions. Your conclusions are led by nothing.

They also drank water and took shits.

What is most important that it is the rise of accepted androgyny that shows that THE PEOPLE NO LONGER BELIEVE IN THEIR CIVILIZATION

why do you keep capitalizing yale? are you now trying to get the rest of us to appeal to the authority of higher ed? or are you only doing this when an higher ed expert says something that you like?

the "alpha" romans considered the byzantines (eastern romans) to be betas. they often remarked about how they prefered diplomacy to fighting, and oiled themselves up, wore makeup etc etc.

the byzantine empire lasted longer than any in history.

Umm, gay MEN cant have babies, yet lesbian WOMEN still can, via surrogates. It's the same it's always been.
Gay guys can also use surrogates though they do so less often than lesbians.

Paula's conclusions are interesting.
More interesting might be when I tell my dad that they agree on something.
Most interesting is the idea that "When a civilization no longer believes in itself..." This is a concept that I find fascinating and terrifying and self-evident.

Current Western society has succeeded in getting 70% of Americans to believe that the majority of Americans are actively working to oppose/oppress them. People like Bill Ayers and Che Guevara and Mumia Abu-Jamal are held up as heroes. Military, law enforcement, business, and especially religion is the default antagonist in so much popular culture that it's practically become cliché. Those at the top must be toppled and everyone claims they're the ones to make the grass greener afterwards.

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."
-William Butler Yeats

Hard to say whether it's correlation or causation, but there's something there perhaps. Presently, it seems like the modern left, largely unwittingly among the masses, and perhaps mostly wittingly among the elites, is bringing on the collapse of Western society. God save us all.
It's not unwitting. They'll outright tell you that western society sucks and needs to be fundamentally changed, most traditions thrown out, and that people, especially white people, should stop having families.

I don't think the androgyny is the cause of a collapsing society, but it is a symptom of one that is coming to an end. It is extreme decadence and rejection of successful traditions. If it was just the transvestites alone it wouldn't necessarily indicate anything, but western societies also have every other symptom of a very uncertain future and what's worse is that the cultural ideas championed in place of ours are some of the most disastrous in history, like socialism, communism, and Islam.

Lol at the military and law enforcement being default antagonists. The whole Transformers franchise was dripping with a pro-military message and its a huge franchise and hardly the only major blockbuster of its kind. And when it comes to law enforcement not only are they often the good guys but their stories are written in some cases to justify the abuse of their authority such as when a cop uses a dirty trick to obtain probable causes on a suspect who turns out to have been the bad guy all along.

A lot of the root of this has to do with ideological subversion strategies, including the deployment of Marxist critical theory, which is in practice, endless destructive unbalanced criticism with the intent on weakening and even dissolving the target (Western civ) over time.

It is one mechanism that can be (and is being) used to turn people against their own society and generate resentment with the aim of 'cultural revolution' along predefined lines.

See Russia and China or any other Marxist revolution for an indication of the end game.

Kind of bizarre how much they've been willing to convince quite a lot of people of. Disarm the public, censor speech, have the gov't control business, confiscate and distribute money, drive approved cars, dissolve the family unit. The only position that the current left doesn't share with every failed communist dictatorship is that people weren't allowed to leave, but that usually comes after the fact anyway.

Sam Harris has outright said the eventual goal is massive wealth redistribution and unemployment, and in case anybody had delusions that Sam was anything other than a sheltered, privileged "intellectual" who's never met a poor person in his life, he gave Marx's exact ridiculous argument that people paid for unemployment would "learn new languages, discover their passions, spend more time with their kids and play frisbee". Oh yeah, Sam, that's probably why current welfare neighborhoods are just hotbeds for responsible behavior and well-read geniuses who speak half a dozen languages, and totally not drug dens full of crime and deadbeat dads.

Oh, I won't deny the public fascination with police work (particularly the more morbid details) or that some of the most popular franchises (L&O:SVU, NCIS) have attractive actors sympathetically playing police doing some highly illegal/unethical things.

I'm saying that, in a lot of TV shows and movies, if you're only going to come across these entities once, they're going to be corrupt, hypocritical, cowardly, incompetent and/or self-righteous: racist cops, cultish preachers, military officers "just following orders," etc.

Even biopics and those "inspired by the true story" are filled with embellishments to outright falsehoods to glorify the outlier and denigrate the establishment and/or the proxies thereof.

Well it's been going on for decades so it's like the boiling frog approach. That's how subversion strategies work, that it's like a slow release of poison into a society that seeps deeper and build up over time.

Yeah all of those things you listed are likely on the table. At the root of it, it is about power and control.

Haha yeah I really do wonder where people are coming from when they bring up some utopian vision of everyone being paid to do nothing (a universal basic income type of scenario, and even taken further sometimes). Just look at how long term dependency affects people. It makes them weak and demoralizes them. But, dependency is power so if you have a legion of people dependent on you then you own them, essentially, and they will do what you say.

It's the kind of thing that sounds really cool, but then 10 years later you wonder what the hell happened and why people are so miserable.

I don't see it, if anything I see the opposite. The military and police are usually portrayed positively in film and television from what I see and even shitty, illegal behavior by them gets justified like the abuse of probable cause in the case of cops.
