I literally can think of nothing that would earn less money.

Dude would be better off picking up cans in the street!

Makes me sad that he can have so much on the line but literally has no better idea than getting punched in the face and his back up plan being the margin on sweets that cost cents.

    Any ideas broke ass sherdoggers?

I felt so bad for him during that segment. You could probably make more money by just doing nothing lol

Seriously, seems like just putting his thousand dollars or whatever he needed as a start in a savings account with a good return would be as good

To answer the thread question I can't imagine a real business that is less profitable ....maybe instead of candy if the machines dispensed boiled eggs

It's not that bad. It pays for itself within the year. He most likely bought an existing route. He just has to go refill them or something once a week. I know a guy that makes 100k a year on 6 vending machines.

I like the guy but did watch that segment thinking "what?!" I mean vending machines dispensing other things sure but little handfuls of sweets? Who even uses those?

WTF? Tell us which "savings account".....where, which bank.... because this usually implies a Bank's saving account. The current yield is usually under 1%. Above 1% is excellent. Toothy Tom is way ahead of you.

    Lol that was my point

Anyway my credit union has a money market account 1.9%

He is prob bringing in 3% , might as well just put his money in a savings account and save the time and effort of throwing away old candy and collecting quarters lol

I have to ask, when you say 6 vending machines, I can only assume you don't mean 6 mechanical dispensers of a single variety of loose candy for a quarter

"How much did we make this week Tom?" "About 5 bucks honey"

Seriously, aside from knowing you ain't making shit from selling those the amount of fucking around that goes along with it must be a nightmare.

Did I see correctly that he had a candy machine in an MMA gym? There could be some cheese to be made from vending machines if targeted to the right customer, but that seems to be bad placement (unless there's an in-house daycare).

He should save up for one of these, and stack it up with protein shakes and energy bars:

The one in the gym was the funniest part. We all know those MMA athletes got to get their share of their M&M's after a session.

Still I guess Eddie Gordon will be sorted soon when his kid is old enough to eat it rather than be left screaming in his chair with fuck all to do. Still can't believe he not only does that but thought having it filmed was a good idea too. That's not dedication Eddie, that's being a shit dad.

He might make the occasional quarter off of someone experiencing a bout of low blood sugar from not fueling up properly before a workout, lol.

Proper placement and several locations can actually yield a better return than you think. We have these at our courthouse that I'm at daily for an hour or so and I see them get action from employees as well as parents of kids. It's obviously a very passive income investment, but I think his final return is going to be better than what people assume.

I couldn't believe when I saw that. Literally the same day that show aired, a work friend of mine was complaining that his ex-wife has joined a gym and takes their two kids with her and makes them sit in the reception while she works out. We were all discussing how bad we thought that was. Then the same day I see Eddie Gordon pulling the same shit.

I'm not usually one to criticise other parents because nobodies perfect and everybody has their own ideas about what constitutes good parenting but this seems like a very selfish thing to do to your own kids. Bad form Eddie.

Of course, this could have been misrepresented in the show. Who knows?
