Do burpees put a lot of strain on lower back? I'm having some annoying lower back pain since last year and I don't want to make it worse...

If you have low back issues, burpees could affect your low back, but unless the problem is already there, doing burpees correclty shouldn't cause low back pain.

Just be carefull on the "sprawl" portion of the brupee, shouldn't be a problem, just start slow and up your speed overtime.

You should talk to your doctor and see if you have an already existing back problem. If you do, dont do burpess at all, but if you dont, doing burpess properly should be perfectly safe.

burpees can affect the lower back. burpees uses some core muscles.

I also have lower back problems. I started adding burpees to my workouts about a month ago. I really have to make sure im stretched and warmed up otherwise I really feel pain back there.
