Yeah, that's JANUARY! you damn brits!

Undefeated heavies, Jennings and Szpilka, will meet at the Madison Square Garden in January.

I dig Jennings. I rank him higher than the other American heavyweight prospects.
Szpilka is a fun guy to watch, moves pretty well for looking at clumsy as he does. Has some decent power but just doesn't seem like a natural heavyweight.

Should be a good fight. I'd expect Jennings to KO him mid to late.

I think Jennings will put Szpillka down in the early to mid rds.

    Should be a cracker.
Jennings boxes him up, and stops him.

I haven't been that impressed with Jennings but the only reason Spilka is here is because of a good fight with another fighter. Should be another win no one cares about in the HW division.

That's not like you at all, Seano.

    Complaining?
What happened to the bright-eyed and buxom Seano?

I just think NBC puts on some pretty shitty cards. Its like they still think fans only like HW fights. Jennings doesn't look special to me.

Don't think much of Spzilka tbh, Jennings isn't the next great thing but he should win this with superior boxing and by just being better, could probably even stop Spzilka if he goes about it right.

Spzilka hits hard but if Mike Mollo could drop him and give him trouble in both fights, then Jennings should win convincingly. He is young though so there's a chance that he'll get a lot better. I saying somebody so young is never gonna be good, there's a possibility he comes in a way better fighter than we saw against Mollo, but I doubt it atm.

Like the fight though from a stylistic pov. Neither guy's anything special but what do you expect from hw's on nbc?

How come Spilka spelled his name wrong on his trunks?

This is a pretty good HW fight. Don't know what all the complaining about.

Is it going to be on NBC or HBO can anyone confirm. Would make a great fight for NBC

edit: HBO it seems. That sucks. Would make a good undercard fight for another headliner though similar to Perez-Abdulsalmov

    I'm with you on this.

I like this match up and it's also relevant for the division.

He's a natural cruiserweight. Back in 2009 he had to spend a year or more in prison due to being a football hooligan and he spent the time lifting weights... which is why he went from someone who weighs 200lbs to someone who weighed 230lbs+.

This should be a fun fight. Both are crude and neither are likely to go too far in the division but both throw a lot of punches (at least to begin with), hit hard and have poor defence... which should make it enjoyable (if at times embarrassing) to watch.

Any word if Arthur is gonna get into the country?

I hope this comes off, nothing like Heavyweights slinging punches.

They just announced tickets are selling well and mentioned it's largely because of the Jennings vs Spuzilkalaka undercard. Though I wouldn't put it past them to pretend it's still going ahead it does seem that way as of now.

IMO something about Szpilka makes me think of him as the Polish Tua

really?? I feel like he has a completely different style. Tua would've knocked his head off... Artur went life and death against Mike Mollo lol.
