Poor Brian. Rough upbringing. Crime and gang involvement. Almost drowned surfing, saw a couple people die this year. He trains to escape his problems. He started a Brian Ortega foundation for people "with all kinds of problems."

Why the hate man he seems like a nice dude. The foundation seems genuine and not a way to get fans or money.

People attach better and are more emotionally invested in a fighter if there is some kond of back story.

Again, I like Brian. Yes, I think it is a little funny that he has a foundation for 'people with all kinds of problems' considering he has so many problems. It is a bit comedic that his entire persona revolves around the problems he has. I like him a lot actually.
