It looks as though the government will come for the likes of myself to foot the bill because our prime minister is such a weak link. I can't believe I voted fir this woman, the woman we had before her was the best in my lifetime.

Don't blame Theresa May (although she is bereft of ideas). Brexiteers voted for chaos and they have got chaos. They should be pleased.

Brexiteers voted for independence

You're conflating authority with order.

LOL What the fuck is the UK doing ????

Impact assessments of Brexit on the UK 'don't exist'

The government has not carried out an impact assessment of leaving the EU on the UK economy, Brexit Secretary David Davis has told MPs.

"There's no sort of systematic impact assessment," Mr Davis told the Brexit committee.

He said the government had produced a "sectoral analysis" of different industries but not a "forecast" of what would happen when the UK leaves the EU.

A "very major contingency planning operation" is in place, he added.

Committee chairman Hilary Benn asked whether impact assessments had been carried into various parts of the economy, listing the automotive, aerospace and financial sectors.

"I think the answer's going to be no to all of them," Mr Davis responded.

When Mr Benn suggested this was "strange", the minister said formal assessments were not needed to know that "regulatory hurdles" would have an impact.

"I am not a fan of economic models because they have all proven wrong," he added.

Seems like Varadkar was right last month, when he said

“It’s 18 months since the referendum, it’s 10 years since people who wanted a referendum started agitating for one. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like they thought all this through,”

I'm going to have to read the article because that's just the weirdest thing.

edit: ahh, I see. They still think Brexit is a good idea in theory, but believe May and her party are screwing it up.

Just in case anyone thinks the DUP are representing NI.

Theresa May, a Remainer at heart, has the second-most thankless job in the entire world.

She's doing her best in her country's interests, unlike that socialist snake Jeremy Corbyn who try to bite at her ankles every chance he get.
