Marine Le Pen is gaining support in France and has taken the lead in a major survey of voters’ intentions for the first round of the presidential election.

The populist leader of the National Front had between 25 percent and 26 percent support compared with 23 percent to 25 percent for Republican candidate Francois Fillon, according to an Ipsos Sopra Steria poll for Cevipof and Le Monde. In mid December, Fillon led with about 28 percent and Le Pen around 25 percent.

Yeah, and this is my main concern here. The Brexit/Trump momentum could lead away from socialism and the entrenched bureaucracy, but could also empower racism (I know that Nazi's were officially socialist but you get the idea, I mean the modern left-wing style of government control).

Le Pen apparently moved the party away from a lot of her Dad's positions, but IIRC she still has some questionable points of view.

However, there needs to be a tangible backlash against the left-wing overreach that has so screwed up the world economy and became so totally arrogant. So to that extent I'm cheering.

Amazing that national socialists are the only chance that country has to survive. The only issue that really matters is demographic replacement. What do you think France will be like with 3rd worlds as a majority? Do you think democracy will stand? Will it be like in South Africa where they genocide white people?

Who cares about other issues at this point, really? This is about survival of a nation and survival of a people.
