IMO, if two fighters are very hesitant about fighting each other, then it probably won't be a good fight. I remember Jon Jones saying he had a hard time finishing Rashad because he still respected the guy a lot and if you watched their fight, there a few moments when Jon had Rashad wobbly and didn't finish him.

Not saying there's no way Machida vs Silva wouldn't be an exciting (I would definitely watch), but if two guys say they don't want to fight each other, I just don't think they would try to put the other guy away.
