Brand New Titan Quest expansion (out now)...

So this was random. Apparently an expansion for Titan Quest, the 11 year old somewhat-bigger-than-cult-but-not-quite-mainstream classic was released yesterday: Titan Quest: Ragnorok (The mirrored title to Marvels new movie is coincidental), replacing the greek mythology of the original with norse mythology and monsters.

So.....who's reinstalling?

I would recommend waiting for reviews since Iron lore is not making said expansion.....nevertheless....this is possible cool news. A new expansion out of nowhere dropped onto steam is neat.....but is it any good? Head says cash grab, but heart wishes for something more. Currently on special for 15 bucks, which seems fair, but will soon rise to 25, which seems high for an 11 year old engine.

Lol I really liked Titan Quest back in the day and when I clicked on this I thought you surely had the wrong game in your thread title. How is this game getting an expansion? Like on the same game engine?

Anyways, I actually have a story there. I was a big Ultima fan and one of the programmers was in a group that was modding Dungeon Siege back in the day to be a remake of Ultima 5. I used to post on a forum there and talk to him. He was working on Titan Quest at the time and would talk about his work on that game too.. The mod took forever too come out though, and by the time it finally did I think it was like 2010 lol. I played it briefly and it was an amazingly good game, I had just lost interest after so long and the Dungeon Siege engine was getting quite old by then.
