Boxing rounds vs MMA rounds

A lot has been made about Conor and how he's going to gas in the fourth round or something around there because Conor has no gas tank. Let's look at the facts.

A boxing round is 3 minutes with 1 minute of rest.

A MMA round is 5 minutes with 1 minute of rest.

Conor has been in a 5 round war in the UFC when he fought and beat Nate the second time. That's 25 minutes.

For the same time frame in a boxing match that would be 8 rounds but in between those rounds Conor would get 7 minutes of rest vs just 4 in a 5 round MMA fight.

In that 5 round fight Conor was fighting a bigger man in Nate. And was pressed up against the cage a lot that fight.

Fighting Floyd will be a lot different 1) because Floyd isn't any where near as big as Nate is and 2) Conor will dominate the clinch if Floyd tries to tie him up.

On top of all this Conor has been seriously training his cardio since losing to Nate back in March of 2016. He even developed a new cardio program for himself to improve on that part of his game.

So over a year of training his cardio up plus shorter rounds and more rest periods makes it less likely Conor gasses and this fight goes the distance.

Also Floyd isn't finishing him. Brittle hands, safe fighter, hasn't knocked anyone out in years makes this almost a certain decision.

How did your predictions work out for you? I've read most of your posts here with quite some amusement.

You had others genuinely responding and laying down some truth for you yet you were so blinded by your own fanboyism that you just couldn't open your mind to see it. Instead you insulted those who were sincerely trying to educate you.

You. Dumb. Fuck.
