This is MMA. It happens all the time.

Strikers have to worry about all kinds of other stuff and can then caught of guard with strikes. Happens more often than people think.

And grapplers can get taken down becuase they don't expect that either. They can even get caught in a sub or end up in a really bad position like Kos vs Lawler for example.

MMA has so many things guys have to worry about that specialists can look really awful in their field of excellence.
