I agree. It's the same logic that, if you take it further, results in the stupid crap many muslims force their women to wear to lower temptation. And just like this issue shows that people handle it fine, most places in the world show that men handle women in normal, and even revealing, clothing without going crazy.

I do not deny that the family unit serves a purpose.

If the grounds of debate are the family unit, and the roll it serves in stable societies, you will win that debate.

If the grounds of debate are about whether we live on a planet with finite resources, and a ever increasing population, and whether that reproduction is a selfish act, I think I will do just fine in that debate.
