I think the franchise hasn't came up with anywhere good to go now. Casino Royale with Craig was great, but after the Bournes and with how good the Mission Impossible series has become...it doesn't seem to know what it wants to be anymore.

Idris Elba would make a good bond IMO, he is a great actor and since in the new Bond's they make him former SAS as opposed to some Royal Navy officer CUNT ('Commander Bond'), there is absolutely nothing wrong with a new Bond being black so the race thing is bullshit. Plenty of former and current Troopers are black/fijian etc

I like Craig as Bond. It's kind of been up/down with the movies, but I always dig his his performance.

Daniel Craig is bond? what kind of white supremacist bullshit is this; we all know that James bond should be a black tranny on a wheelchair, its only fair to the opressed on this world

Glad to see Craig do at least one more. I enjoy the take we have had with him.

Kind of odd considering how Craig made it pretty obvious that he didn’t want to do Bond anymore during the last media tours.

Thanks bud

Hes right about everything except avoiding QoS;

Its fast paced, stylish, brutal and vital in the connective story that runs through Daniel Craigs series.

Watch all his 007 movies

I'm sure I've said it somewhere in this thread but he comes across as a cold blooded psychopath with god knows how many mental issues from his life. That's what James Bond would be in reality. I like it

Just working the studio so they'd back that Brinks truck up to the house

I don’t know, he said some pretty hateful stuff. I guess everyone has a price.

Well also he didn't do any other movies between Skyfall and Spectre so between pre-produciton and press he lived James Bond nearly every day for 4-5 years. Actors seem to really hate that kinda thing

I had an ex that had a crush on Pierce Brosnan. One day it dawned on me that her dad looked like Pierce's American twin.

That’s true. Never understood the appeal of Bond as a heroic figure. He seems generally misogynistic and sociopathic. Living that way for years certainly has to leak over into your own life at some point.

whats your issue? it is a Bond thread??

Elba himself has already stated he will not be playing Bond. Also, the final Craig Bond film won't be released until Valentine's Day 2020. Elba would be almost 50 by the time he started filming his first Bond movie. That's far too old to start a franchise. Craig was 37 when he made Casino Royale, and some people thought that was too old.

There may be a black Bond at some point, but it won't be Idris Elba.

Really? Bond travels first class, stays in the best hotels, drives fantastic cars, beats up and kills scum-bags and nails beautiful women. It's a very popular and common fantasy for most guys.

Man, I want a girl with daddy issues. I look too young at 33 but my hair's starting to grey so wish me luck bro ...
