Proves that cutting too much weight is a bad idea.

This dude survived Yoel Romero rocket launchers but got tkoed by WW Wonderboy

He also was still a young prospect... But now is in his prime and ready to bang!!!

Nearly every great fighter had early losses

whittaker would dismantle wonderboy with ease if they fought eachother again.

We have to see Yoel vs Wonderboy in order to complete the MMA Math!

Disagree. strikers are whittakers kryptonite. Romero has power but is not fast, accurate or deceiving.
power does not necessarily equate to ko if you see it coming. timing and accuracy are more important. see andersonsilva.

Whittaker is doing so well at MW because he's a striker with excellent excellent takedown defense in a grappler heavy division. Wonderboy would still beat him at MW, just a very stylistically difficult matchup for whittaker.

speed kills at any division

The fuck you talking about with that revisionist history?

Whittaker wasn't cutting insane amounts of weight to make welterweight. He was on TUF and made weight a bunch of times over the course of filming the show. For the Wonderboy fight, he weighed in at 170. If was really cutting a lot of weight, he would have come in right at 171. After Wonderboy fucking destroyed him, Whittaker fought again at welterweight. He fought many times at welterweight and never missed weight once, sometimes coming in under 170. It wasn't a struggle for him.

He eventually decided to add more muscle to move up to middleweight.

Survived Yoel Romero? Whittaker fucking turtled. The ref saved his ass.

Just because he makes weight it doesn't mean it's a drastic cut?

Lmao ok.

Wonderboy struggles to put on weight at Welterweight. So WB would get wrekt against a 217-220 pound Whittaker at MW. Costa would bully Wonderboy, as would Israel Adesanya, Brunson and literally every top 10

WB beat Whittaker, thats fact.
Thats WB's greatest accomplishment, a win against a cub in young Welterweight Whittaker - its also something WB always mentions and sadly seems to live off of.

Whittaker also got smacked around by Court fkn Mcgee and finished by Hoon "who?" Kim. Fighters who have moved on from that. So to say he loses to these guys again is laughable.

Whittaker now, he's the kingle of the jungle and beats anyone and everyone in the division. Where as wonderboy would get bullied by Costa and Israel and Brunson and pretty much everyone even Tim Boetsch
