Blocking Avatars

Under user preferences I see the option to "Show people's signatures with their messages" or not...

But, nothing for Avatars.

Can this be added or is it there and I am just missing it?

I want to have the option to block all Av's if i want to.

Hi, Hans.

Avatar suppression is currently not supported. I believe our older software did support the feature but this is no longer the case, as we've since upgraded.

If surfing the site via mobile device, avatars by default should however not be visible. Are your concerns NSFW-related or more forum experience with a quicker, cleaner page-view?

NSFW-related as well as wanting a cleaner page view. So, a bit of both.

I made a couple other changes :​

RSS icons are no longer visible (2007 called and wanted them back)
Avatars in thread list will no longer show on displays < 600px (mobile). There's no easy way to make that an option.
If you check the box in preferences to hide avatars in posts, the forum is very clean on mobile

edit: I reverted mobile. It doesn't look right with your style because of missing thread indicators.
