Aleks was looking terrible before he went to prison. I can't imagine how bad he must be now. Honestly Jordan probably had as good of a chance as anyone in WSOF.

They have nobody on the roster for him. Guess maybe since they have Ali they could look to go after some of the young Russian HW talent like Pav. Hope they dont know dont want them stuck in WSOF hell for years.

Big Foot would have been someone they should have gone after. I guess now you just look for some mid level guys UFC cuts.

There really isnt gonna be much, he should be able to keep that belt for a while. he just signed a new contract, so did Palmer.

They need to strike a deal with FNG and sign up Sidelnikov, Minakov and Pavlovich to fight Ivanov.

Easily the best heavyweight outside of the UFC along with Minakov. Would really love to see those two through down.

As soon as someone says x will be a champ for a long time after starching someone from the UFC they lose. See Koreshkov.

The real take away is that Ivanov is a top 15-10 HW which we already knew.

Anyone who outrank's him is either a top guys in EFN or Bellator or signed to UFC. They should either have him take a fight in Rizin (the loser of Page v MO could be good) or try to poach a UFC guy (Struve is probably the cheapest, though I don't want to look up actual figures).

I guess they'll have to fast-track Caio Alencar in to get his ass wrecked in round 1 then god knows. Maybe by then, Rosholt has won 1-2 fights and starts putting his KO loss to Caio down to a lucky punch or something. They'll have to sign a regional champion or two, Azunna Anywanwu or someone. Nobody has a chance though, he's another David Branch - wayyyyy above anyone on the roster but an unknown quantity against UFC-calibre competition.

By that I mean, as good as Ivanov is, how he'd fare against the likes of Struve, Nelson, Travis Browne etc, we don't know, let alone the top guns.

Wsof needs to play this up, maybe even use Blagoi as a bargaining chip to get some thing out of another promotion (so they can set up the fight, WSOF sure as hell ain't gonna do it).
