Blagoy Ivanov will remain the WSOF champion for a long, long time

    I don't see who on the WSOF roster can beat Blagoy.
    They don't have too many signed heavyweights and the ones they have are not on his level. Every future fight will be a mismatch, unless WSOF step their game up and sign new fighters.

    Well yeah, they only have seven HWs on their roster right now, including Ivanov. Rosholt just lost to Alencar, so I wouldn't be surprised if they gave Alencar the shot.

    This is their HW roster.
    Blagoy Ibanov
    Josh Copeland
    Juliano Coutinho
    Shawn Jordan
    Caio Alencar
    Ashley Gooch
    Jared Rosholt

    The only guy that could foreseeably go back to HW currently at LHW would be Smealinho Rama, who got choked out by Ivanov already.

    I'd like to see them do Copeland vs Alencar next, then either give Copeland a rematch or Alencar a shot. Alencar didn't look like a world beater in Brazil, and I think his win was more of a stylistic victory since Rosholt is really chinny. If Alencar can beat Copeland, who is at a high level camp now and doing a lot of things differently, then I'd say give him a shot.

    In terms of guys they can sign, they should look at more guys who large promotions may not sign for reasons like age, association, or performance. Zelimkhan Umiev, Denis Stojnic, Kazbek Saidaliev, Evgeny Erokhin, James Mulheron.

    Or in the US... Patrick Walsh, Richard Odoms, Azunna Anyanwu, Greg Rebello, Rashad Coulter, Jeff Hughes, Daniel James, Jack May, Raphael Butler

    I know he said he was staying with WSOF but has he signed the contract? I hope he changes his mind and either goes to the UFC or Bellator. I'd love to see him go up against Fedor whom he beat in Sambo.

    A lot of that probably depends who they can grab. Shawn Jordan was actually a pretty good get but he's been getting fatter and fatter. I think most of his ability came from being fast and powerful and I think gaining weight isn't the best strategy. Ivanov lost to Volkov not that long ago honestly so even though he's looked good lately it doesn't show him to be unbeatable by any means. Hope they can get like Cheick Kongo or something, that'd be a great match.

    He was released by Bellator why would he come back? He is getting paid more in Wsof , if he makes the jump will be UFC

    Russia has a lot of talented HW out there they should grab. It would be cool too see Aleks Emelianenko fight him make a whole avenge Fedor Sambo loss to Ivanov angle? I dunno

    That Erokhin guy was in a reallly nice streak before he lost to Genronimo Dos Santos, maybe they can ink him and give him a tune up fight before giving him a title shot....

    Rosholt could win via blanket. Shawn Jordan could be interesting as well. If they signed Jack May he has a puncher's chance. But in general he probably will be champ for a long time.

    He probably wouldn't pass a stateside drug test, if I had to guess. He uh, yeah. Although, of the two, Aliakbari is the one that popped in his career.
