Should I know that?
Yeah... Zero racial component.
just so happens he shot at what looked exactly like the paper targets his precinct provides for him.
What are the statistics on shootings of police officers in St. Louis over the past decade by race?It sure looks like a race thing. He showed up on scene with no additional knowledge and assumed that a black man was an immediate threat to his life. He didnt care that no o e else was bothered.
He didnt tell him to get on the ground, like the cops who had actually been in a gunfight did right before.
He saw black, and he opened fire without warning. Thats your angle.

That's an angle, too. Take off the blinders.
You are speculating. Isn't more plausible that he saw a man with gun and opened fire?It sure looks like a race thing. He showed up on scene with no additional knowledge and assumed that a black man was an immediate threat to his life. He didnt care that no o e else was bothered.

He wasn't a thug....Wonder if there will be protests or riots?
He wasn't a thug....
What a disaster. We need to privatize the police
It's not a matter of training. It's when you drop your standards to let officer Farva or Chedder Bob graduate the Acadamey. It needs to be tough to pass. You have to prove to be a quick thinker, assess the situation in a second with facts on hand.I agree this is more of a piss poor training/communication issue and not race. The officer who fired should lose his job for incompetence.
wtf is that jeff goldblum with lucious hair?
Cops shoot off duty cops all the time. Shit uniformed officers have shot detectives plenty, officers have shot their own Narcs on buy bust ops by accident.
For a variety of factors, off duty black officers get shot frequently by on duty officers of all races.
Doesn't seem like a race thing to me. The cop just seemed incompetent. He showed up at the scene and there was a guy with a gun in civilian clothes. Wouldn't you automatically think he was the criminal? It sure looks like a race thing. He showed up on scene with no additional knowledge and assumed that a black man was an immediate threat to his life. He didnt care that no o e else was bothered.

You are correct it still blows my mind that it is legal to not hire you as an officer if you score too high on the IQ test. It's not a matter of training. Dunkin Donuts better watch the fuck out.Wonder if there will be protests or riots?
