"Black Mirror" sucks

What a dumb thread. Its literally short stories. If you dont like one move to the next.

I dont like them all but season 4 was great

Ironically, I just started watching the first season.

I'm two episodes in, and not impressed whatsoever.

The first episode was amazingly stupid, unrealistic, predictable, and the 'shocking twist' at the end was obvious from the opening minutes of the episode.

The second episode reminded me why I hate both TV talent competitions and industrialised porn.

I get they're social commentaries, but they're pathetically shallow and transparent commentaries.

Going to be finishing the rest of the season because I told my friend I would, but I doubt I'm going to watch much more after that.

I came in late what are you talking about? Black mirror?

It’s a good show I like it. TS seems to dislike it because a lot of peeps like it. Hipster.

obviously.

Just checking people were talking about other shows so had to make sure.

You dont like it? I actually thought the last season was the best. I enjoyed every story but it progressively gets better. It got popular so it got more money for production and better story lines

I've watched the first three episodes of the first season, and the 'White Christmas' episode because I like that actor that was on Mad Men.

Maybe I'll check out an episode of the recent season, but I think I get the gist of the series.

ya its a twighlight zone short stories about technology. the first episode of the last season is awesome

thoroughly overrated and pseudo-intellectual show, imo.

Apparently the original BBC stuff is good? Havent watched those. Only new Netflix ones

Waldo and the Pig Fucker episode were terrible but overall the show is hit or miss. The episode with Bryce Dallas was a lot of fun as was USS Callister. Crocodile was disturbing, 15 Million Units was sad and unnerving, Arkangel was troubling and cautionary. It’s a fun popcorn show. Sometimes it gives you something to ponder and sometimes you just completely forget about it.

Think I watched 3-4 episodes and thought it was a bit shit.

Black Mirror sucks. I saw endless praise of it but I noticed some mixed reviews as well. Some people in interviews were citing it and also coming off very pretentious while doing so, so it turned me off of checking it out. However, I did check it out in the last few days.

One episode in the first season was good. I'm almost to season 3 and actually had to skip a lot of the rest out of boredom. Also, the fan base reminds me of the RIck and Morty fan base in that "my IQ must not be high enough to understand the deep social commentary and creative originality of it"

It's shallow, makes the same point over and over again, is extremely incoherent, has no memorable characters (so far from what I've seen), and is just bleak pretentious garbage that takes itself way to seriously.

Rick and Morty is pretty good though.
Wabalabadubdub bitches

EDIT:

Here I'll do you all a favor. This meme sums up the show perfectly.

Now you don't have to waste your time watching it.
Lol you go straight to hell its awesome!

I watched the first couple episodes and couldn't get into it. If 3 is supposed to be the best maybe I'll watch this weekend.

I enjoyed the first season, the 2nd was rough at times and I haven't seen the 3rd season. When it's good it's really good and when it's bad it is tedious to get through.

Yeah it has way more bad episodes than good. I recommend everyone watch the USS Callister episode though. It's the first episode of season 4
