Black kid wrote a poem about death by cops

@Johnny Mac @dfoster What the fuck is wrong with Tupac and poetry? EH?!

“Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet.
Funny, it seems to by keeping it's dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared.”

Beautiful, poetic metaphor about the ghetto. It's just Tupac was smart enough to understand that. Why hate on Pac?

@Johnny Mac ripskater apparently is a piece of shit.

Nothing wrong with poetry. But there’s something wrong with the mindset that dramatic, poetric expression of your suffering is more important than practical solution

Look at how Tupac wrote about his moma being a black queen sacrificing everything for him. The whole world knew about it but did he take steps to take care of her? Did he make sure she gets his fortune or did he allow it to be stolen from her? It’s the gap between the poetic and the practical

Life did get easier for him alright but not for his loved ones. Looks like we have another martyred poet a la Tupac in the making

Thats the problem with the black community: too much poetry, not enough common sense: don’t run from the police and no one will have to bury you.

You really think some cops only beat and kill you if you run? SMH

Classic overly emotional blue haired, low T, vegan'd out of his/her/ze/xe/it mind, ladyboy post.
You're a cuck lover that calls a 70 year old man daddy. You have no room to ever say anything to anyone about anything, ladygirl.

Part of me hates the way the media tries to portray every one of these kids as some Wakandan exchange student, helping out at the orphanage while they're studying to go to Harvard etc when the reality is a lot of them are scumbags who are looking for trouble. The Michael Brown case for example, that kid was just a no good piece of shit criminal and the media turned him into Gandhi, it was absurd.

That being said, running from the cops should not get you shot in the back. Police in the US are way too quick to pull out their guns and start firing without any threat. Look up the Daniel Shaver, Philando Castile, etc.

Problem is the media puts all of these shootings in one basket where there is quite an obvious distinction between when the cop is responsible and when the perp is.
