Black cool

Funny you say that, but I thought rock music has it's roots in African American culture. Then White people took it over from them thereon.

The early British bands from the 60s and 70s like the Beatles and Stones took inspiration from people like Chuck Berry and other Blues musicians, not someone like Elvis.
Elvis took his thing from black musicians.
It's all of a piece, a lot of music is best when either traditional or mixed genre.
