Bizarre Cases of the missing and murdered

I hope it's not discouraging to know that there are. I have been in places where you'll be killed for being gay or Christian. Where sick children are left in a corner to die. Where drug lords literally run cities. In all of those places, people have one thing in common. They want to come here.
I've been to Western Europe too, and they share many of the same issues we do. I know its popular right now to apologize for the US to speak negatively about it, but traveling will likely help you appreciate our freedoms and standard of living more than you imagined.
By the way, I love many of the places I've been and will go back. There are good, generous people all over the world too.

this is basically the truth. Traveling through southern Africa (Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa), was a game changer for me

Read the books. There are hundreds and hundreds.

Eh, prob wouldn't like the books as much. I enjoyed the videos, because the narrator cracked me up.

His Canadian accent and mannerisms, the way he planned the transitions/the way he edited the video, and also trying to stand in poses/wear clothes that showed his wanna be muscles.

Was basically a nature video with the side Story of a missing person

The inexplicable appearance of a fresh, unmarked grave in the cemetery of a 12th century churchyard has left British authorities baffled.

Believed to have been dug back in September, the eerie addition to the site only came to the attention of police earlier this week when a regular visitor to the graveyard inquired about it.

At that point, investigators realized that something was amiss and, upon digging into the grave, discovered unidentified human remains of an unknown age.

How and why they were suddenly buried at the graveyard, which has not been in use since the 1970's, has proven to be a vexing mystery to police.

However some visitors to the cemetery say that they have seen people tending to the grave and, as such, authorities hope to track down those individuals for questioning.

And while authorities say that there may be a simple explanation behind the mysterious grave, the clandestine nature with which it appeared suggests that may not be the case.

The full details are difficult to track down, but sometime in the 1970s, a troubled young man dedicated substantial time and ingenuity to build a helmet that would fire eight #00 shotgun shells, each containing eight .330″ (8.38 mm) lead balls, into his skull. The helmet was reinforced with a fibreglass and epoxy resin mixture. Wires, constructed from metal clothes hangers, led from an arc welder to nails set against the primers of the shotgun shells. When the arc welder was activated, the eight shotgun shells would fire simultaneously. The design even included the option to manually fire one of the shells if they all failed to fire electrically.

The arrangement of the shotgun shells was designed to ensure complete destruction of the brain, and avoid the suffering of failed suicide attempts, that can sometimes occur with shotguns. Three shotgun shells were positioned in the front of the helmet to fire through the frontal lobes. Two were situated opposite of each other, diagonally on the sides of the head, to fire through the temporal lobes. One was located at the rear of the helmet to destroy the occipital lobe. Finally, two shotgun shells fired down from the top of the helmet, to penetrate the parietal lobes, down into the cerebellum and brainstem. The ingenious and terrible helmet functioned seamlessly just one single time, but that was all that was required.

In the 1700s in France, a man named Tarrare stalked the streets eating literally anything in his path. At the age of 17, he weighed only 100 pounds and could eat a quarter of an entire cow in a day. He could also wrap the skin of his stomach around his entire body. After being kicked out of his house for being terrifying, he traveled as part of a freak show, consuming anything put in front of him. Tarrare would eat anything from garbage to flint to even live animals.

Tarrare enlisted in the army and was quickly sent to a hospital after almost starving to death on a diet meant for only one normal man. There he became the test subject of curious doctors, who fed him everything from live snakes and eels to meals meant for 15 people. Tarrare, however, was kicked out of the hospital after getting caught trying to eat corpses. During his stay a 14-month-old baby mysteriously disappeared from the infirmary, and it's believed he ate it.

That is fucking warped, what an unusual story.

In 1981, after his mother died, while Albright was visiting some friends, he sexually molested their nine-year-old daughter. They reported him and he was prosecuted. He pled guilty and received only probation. He later claimed that he was innocent but had pled to avoid a hassle.

In 1985, Albright met a woman named Dixie, in Arkansas. He invited her to come live with him and it wasn't long before she was paying his bills and supporting him. Charles took a 'paper route' in the early morning, apparently to visit prostitutes without raising his wife's suspicions.

December 13, 1990 - Mary Lou Pratt, 35, a well-known prostitute in the Oak Cliff neighborhood (in Dallas). Her body was found lying face-up. She was wearing only a T-shirt. She was shot in the back of the head with a .44-caliber bullet. The medical examiner discovered that this killer had removed both eyes without making much of a mark on the eyelids, and apparently had taken them with him.

February 10, 1991 - Susan Peterson, a prostitute, was found nearly nude, with her T-shirt pulled up to display her breasts in the same manner as Pratt. She'd been shot three times: in the top of the head, in the left breast and point-blank in the back of the head. One bullet had pierced her heart and another entered her brain. A clump of her hair lay on her chest. She had been dumped in south Dallas, just outside city limits, and the medical examiner found that this victim bore another grisly similarity: her eyes had been surgically removed.

March 18, 1991 - Shirley Williams, a part-time prostitute, was found naked, lying on her side near a school, with her eyes removed. Williams also had facial bruises and a broken nose, and she had been shot through the top of her head and in the face.

March 22, 1991 - After the murder of Shirley Williams, witnesses came forward and told police about Albright. He was arrested in his home.

In 2016, Michelle Martens (left above) was accused of using PlentyOfFish to invite a pair to rape her ten-year-old daughter. Martens, 35, allegedly watched the horrific attack before her daughter, Victoria, was killed and dismembered. Martens admitted to inviting Fabian Gonzales, 31, and his cousin, Jessica Kelley, with the express purpose of sexually torturing her daughter the day after her tenth birthday. Victoria’s body was discovered without arms in a burned blanket in the bathtub of a New Mexico apartment. Investigators revealed she had been injected with methamphetamine before being raped, strangled, and stabbed.

Martens claimed she watched the couple rape her daughter three times. She then had intercourse with Gonzales. Authorities charged Martens with kidnapping and child abuse resulting in death. Gonzales and Kelley were charged with kidnapping, child rape, and child abuse resulting in death. Martens revealed that she had previously watched men, whom she sourced from dating sites, sexually assault her daughter.

KANKAKEE — Three people have been arrested in the kidnap and slaying of Stephen B. Small, 40, the great-grandson of an Illinois governor and a member of a wealthy family in this Downstate city, authorities said Saturday.
The body was found buried in a wooden box in a rural area outside Kankakee at 10 p.m. Friday, two days after he was abducted and held for $1 million ransom. Police said the body, buried under three feet of sand, was discovered after an air and ground search of woods near Hopkins Park, a town about eight miles southwest of here.
A maroon 1987 Mercedes-Benz registered to his wife, Nancy, was found several hundred feet from where the body was found. Investigators located the car at 7 p.m. Friday.
Police said they were searching for at least two other persons in connection with the kidnap and slaying.
The three people arrested- a 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman from Bourbonnais and a 33-year-old man from Kankakee-will be formally charged on Tuesday with aggravated kidnaping and murder, according to Kankakee Police Chief Timothy Nugent.
An autopsy to determine the cause of Small`s death was scheduled for later Saturday. He was abducted at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said the wooden box Small was placed in had a ventilation system. Small was ``definitely buried alive,`` said the Kankakee County coroner, James Orrison, earlier Saturday.
``He was apparently placed in a shallow grave in a homemade wooden box with a pipe for an air supply that ran about 20 feet underground and came up. He was also given water and even a little light,`` Orrison said.
Small had been dead at least several hours when he was found, Orrison said. He could not estimate how long Small had been in the box.
``Apparently, the air supply was not sufficient,`` he said. ``Before we do an autopsy, it looks to me like he probably suffocated or had a heart attack because of the situation he was in.``
