This has been escalating for several years now. It really has nothing to do with Trump except that he is the vehicle through this emotional state is expressed. I've been saying that there are no more ideas on my side of the aisle, except how to spite the other side. It's frustrating because if conservatives don't actually spend energy developing solutions that help Americans, we're going to be stuck with "Liberal ideas" vs. "Do nothing so that we can brag about stymieing liberal ideas."

I love what I am seeing. Let trump be half the disaster that Bush was, and see if a campaign for future elections, isn't won by dems by simply pointing to the disaster that 3 Republican terms have led to.

I mean I get that people are upset that consequences for failure aren't immediate many times, but their are consequences for political failure.

If trump fails, and dems swing back into control in 2020, maybe people on the left should be asking what the plan is to govern when that happens, because as far as I am concerned, Obama wasted the opportunity that the bush failure granted. If that wasn't the case, there wouldn't be a president trump.

I don't say this to shit on obama, he was competent, but he was competent in an opportunity for greatness, which is rightfully viewed as a failure of sorts.

Was the Iran deal competent? Was the Benghazi fiasco competent? Was the Affordable Care Act competent? I think you are stretching the truth a bit.

Right now, it really does only exist on one side of the aisle. Liberal keep putting forward random ideas. The ACA was their thing. A guaranteed basic income is their thing. Environmental regulations - them again. Pushing for gay marriage - them. More welfare spending - liberals.

We haven't pushed for anything except tax cuts and I'm going to wait and see what we actually put out there.

We didn't even push to cut government spending which used to be our fallback idea. All we've done for several years is say that liberal ideas won't work and then claim why. But we've been stopping short of putting out actual competitive solutions.

Chuck Schumer just proved the point recently when the Dem's rolled out their "Whatever the Fuck Deal!" One lost election in and they're already trying to push new ideas. We need to be more proactive.
