Betting Questions

I use to be station in Germany and they had some good ones but ever since being back in the united states its hard to come across one. Does anyone know any good legitimate websites?

Noob question but does Bookmaker offer props on MMA fights? Like Weidman decision etc etc

For a bigger fight like Weidman they will. For middle of the card and lower often not. Prices are usually worse than 5d.
 
Would just like to add that Bookmaker does have props for MMA but they are listed on drop down boxes on the interface so BestFightOdds doesn't list them. However if you wait until 48-24 hours before cards, they are usually there for most fights, even the tv prelims if not the Fight Pass prelims. They offer some slightly different props in some cases- fight ends in round 1, 2 or 3 for example, which 5D doesn't offer. And lastly, in some cases, like fighter x wins in round 3 or fighter x wins by majority decision props, the odds are better, even much better than 5D sometimes.

Yeah except for some rotten touts that constantly change their unit size willy nilly to inflate their stats....Anyway ....,;)
 
How big is variance in MMA betting ? I am guessing that people with a higher ROI% have lesser swings and people with low ROI% can have pretty hard swings. Started betting in summer 2016 on paper with virtual money and ended the year in play money profit (~20 bets total, all ML bets while just taking the best value line from bestmmaodds.com). Starting from 2017 started to place real money. 34 bets in I am virtually break-even (-0,1u down) .
Did no tape study just going by memory and betting where I felt the odds were off, so I think I did allright.

Question would be is ~50 bets in any way a valid sample size for thinking I am doing allright or is this just too low. When should I become to understand what my betting abilites are? 100? 1000? 10000?

So yeah any insight on swings in MMAbetting would be awesome

50 bets is nothing for a sample size, imo.

I make 50 bets every week, hehe.

I honestly think a year is a good sample size

Another fun thing to do is make picks on UFC Pick Em. This way you get to see how well you can pick winners regardless of betting lines. I have been sitting at around 60% correct pick rate over the year.

Yeah 50 bets aint much in regards to sample size.

Use UFC Pick Em over a year and see how you do.

I bought some BTC about 18+ months ago when it was worth $447 and nearly tripled my small holdings through gambling while at the same time the value of BTC has more than sextupled or increased by greater than 6x. Pretty pleased with that.

damn well played man. Just holding BTC over the past year would have been more profitable than actually betting MMA for most people.
 
Lemonzest, count your lucky stars that 5D won't take your credit card. NEVER EVER give 5Dimes or any other sportsbook your credit card number! There have been way too many reports of fraud with bookies, especially 5Dimes not protecting your personal information. Secondly, Moneygram used to be a decent way to fund your account, it is how I funded mine back in the day by getting cash from an ATM and sending it at the Moneygram counter at a local grocery store to some random in Costa Rica or wherever, but such an antiquated method limits your ability to get paid much at a time since they have small limits to get paid out the same way. Bitcoin is by far the best way to go nowadays.
