Betting Questions

From what I understand you need to make 4 straight btc deposits to qualify as btc exclusive. Then you get priority payouts. If you're not btc exclusive they will apparently sometimes refuse btc payouts based on availability.

With that huge price jump in btc recently it wouldn't surprise me if they were having trouble keeping up with availability.

i use 5dimes, bookmaker & betonline.. it's hard to get away fee-free just about anywhere.. but you do get free payouts once a month from all of them...

that said, 5dimes has informed me they will no longer send me bitcoin so there's that.. *grr*

That's disappointing to hear.

EZ, do you mind copying me as well? I was actually contemplating taking a 5Dimes payout for the very first time in the more than three years that I have bet there instead of just letting my balance build up forever and I'm curious what they're up to. I was reading elsewhere that they are loathe to payout BTC unless you deposited that way and since my cash deposits pre-date even their initial acceptance of BTC, I don't know what my options are going to be when I do want some money.

This sums it up. They don't like paying out BTC unless you originally deposited with BTC. I originally funded my account with CC and after several BTC withdrawals they have started complaining to me and warned me that if I ever do deposit again it MUST be with BTC. If I deposit again with CC they can then refuse my BTC withdrawals.

If you haven't withdrawn in a while then they will probably give you a pass on a few BTC withdrawals. Another option is just to transfer to another book which they have always been very accommodating about.

pardon? what? how?

go into chat with 5d. explain to them you want to transfer "x" amount to another book. They will give you instructions on what to do. Basically you just need to email them the bookie name and account number you want money dumped to.

Transfer will take a couple days tops.

This is how I got most of my money off of 5d.

I transferred to BM a couple times about 1k each time without a hitch.

FYI for the crew on betting UFC in Vegas:

So I was always curious about what was available in Vegas. Anyway I stayed at Planet Hollywood which has a really nice book. There was no props available. The only bettable lines were over/under and ML for each fight.

They did have lines available for every single fight which impressed me.

Also very interesting to note that you can only have 3 underdogs on a single parlay slip And max parlay length is 10 plays.

I tried to do my hail marly parlay where I pick ML for each fight but they cut me off at 10 plays :(.

No idea about other books on the strip but I hear PH is one of the better ones.

PS. I also had the chance to meet Rebel Lion which was pretty fun. Standup guy who shared his Hennessy with me...

going to be first bet, EVER. i want to put some money down on the mcgregor vs. mayweather fight. where to start? thanks, in advance.

do you live near a local casino that takes sports bets? if this is a one-off thing, i'd just do that. otherwise, you'll need to deposit $ into a reputable book and do the whole thing. 5dimes.eu is the best option if you live in the states. bookmaker.eu is also a good one. etc.

Bookmaker is definitely better than 5Dimes for many purposes, so it depends what you're looking to do.

Yeah that's what we all said :).

What country are you in?

If you are in Europe then there is a ton of books you can dump a few bucks on. Similarly in Canada if you want to put money on 888 or Bet365 then you can bet on boxing and also play poker gamble etc out of the same account.

@EzFlyer @JimGunn other Murricans:

I'm kind of sketched out about 5d and don't want to deposit anymore $ there rn, want to re up on bm since my funds are low there atm, or make my first deposite on bol, which one do you guys trust more?

I haven't used bol yet, have an account but haven't really looked at the site much. I know bm has better boxing lines for the most part, I trust them, but if bol is a better option I'm willing to put some $ in there as well,as long as they're reliable, obv.

Both work honestly... But payouts (for small amounts) might be easier to get from BoL

I only use BM, so I can't comment on BoL. I don't think I can live without 5D though.

bestfightodds for US or oddschecker for EU, if this is your first ever bet, may as well get the best value line you can get. shopping around for best price pays off in the long term. 95% of people in these threads fail to do this

any of you guys who deposit with BTC lost out or made extra with the price fluctuations in bitcoin???
